使徒の働き 13:22（新改訳JSS2017）　そしてサウルを退けた後、神は彼らのために王としてダビデを立て、彼について証しして言われました。『わたしは、エッサイの子ダビデを見出した。彼はわたしの心にかなった者で、わたしが望むことをすべて成し遂げる。』

コメント

パウロは使徒の働きで最もくりかえされたメッセージをここででも語りました。いかにしてイスラエルの神はイスラエルの歴史の中に働かれて、御心を成し遂げ、メシヤを送られたかを説明しています。その中でダビデは中心的な人物であり、神がなぜ選ばれて、その子孫を通してメシヤが約束されたかを語られています。「このダビデのことを神様は、『エッサイの息子ダビデこそ、わたしの心にかなう者、わたしの意思に完全に従う者だ』と言われました」（JCB）。これはダビデの心でもあり、このようにも祈りました。「わが神よ　私は　あなたのみこころを行うことを喜びとします。あなたのみおしえは　私の心のうちにあります」（詩篇40：8 JSS2017）。ダビデの生涯をこのようにまとまられています。「ダビデは、彼の生きた時代に神のみこころに仕えた後、死んで先祖たちの仲間に加えられ（た）」（使徒の働き13:36 JSS2017）。パウロもこのように祈られました。「あなたがたのうちに良い働きを始められた神は、必ずそれを恵みのうちに成長させ、やがてキリスト・イエスが帰って来られる日までに、それを完成してくださると、私は堅く信じています」（ピリピ1:6 JCB）。

Act 13:22 NLT  But God removed Saul and replaced him with David, a man about whom God said, ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after My own heart. He will do everything I want him to do.’

Observation

Paul once again gives the sermon of the history of Israel to show how God chose and used Israel to bring the Messiah.  He used many people through the ages, of David God said, “I have found David son of Jesse, a man after My own heart. He will do everything I want him to do.” This was David’s heart and desire. “I desire to do your will, O my God.” (Psa 40:8 NIV84)  This is how David strived to lived his life.  David’s life is summarized this way,  “For when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep.”  Jesus taught us, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.”  (Matt 6:33 NLT) “Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.” (MSG) Paul prayed, “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (Phil 1:6 ESV)
