ヘブル 9:11,12,14 （新改訳JSS2017）　しかしキリストは、すでに実現したすばらしい事柄の大祭司として来られ、人の手で造った物でない、すなわち、この被造世界の物でない、もっと偉大な、もっと完全な幕屋を通り、12また、雄やぎと子牛の血によってではなく、ご自分の血によって、ただ一度だけ聖所に入り、永遠の贖いを成し遂げられました。14まして、キリストが傷のないご自分を、とこしえの御霊によって神にお献げになったその血は、どれだけ私たちの良心をきよめて死んだ行いから離れさせ、生ける神に仕える者にすることでしょうか。

モーセによる古い契約と同様、すべてのものは流される血に基づいています。「律法によれば、ほとんどすべてのものは血によってきよめられます。血を流すことがなければ、罪の赦しはありません」（22節 JSS2017）。雄やぎや子牛の血の効果は一時的であり、常に繰り返されなければなりませんでした。しかし、キリストの血は「ただ一度だけ」ささげられて、私たちはすべての罪が赦され、きよめられたのです。「．．．御子イエスの血がすべての罪から私たちをきよめてくださいます」（1ヨハネ1:7 JSS2017; エペソ1:7; 1ペテロ1:18-19も参照）。「この方こそ、私たちの罪のための、いや、私たちの罪だけでなく、世全体の罪のための宥（なだ）めのささげ物です」（1ヨハネ2:2 JSS2017）。「神はそのひとり子を世に遣わし、その方によって　私たちにいのちを得させてくださいました。それによって　神の愛が私たちに示されたのです。10私たちが神を愛したのではなく、神が私たちを愛し、私たちの罪のために、宥（なだ）めのささげ物としての御子を遣わされました。ここに愛があるのです」（1ヨハネ4:9-10 JSS2017）。

Heb 9:11,12,14 NIV84  When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. 14  How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Observation

Just as under the Old Covenant of Moses, everything is based on the shedding of blood. “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” (v.22 NIV84) The blood of bulls and goats was only temporary and had to be repeated over and over again.  But Christ offered his sinless blood “once for all” to pay the redemption and cleanse us from all our sins;  “…the blood of Jesus, his Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1Jn 1:7 ESV; see also Eph 1:7; 1Pet 1:18-19) “He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1John 2:2 NIV84) “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins” (1John 4:9-10 NIV84).
