ヘブル 13:5,6,8 （新改訳JSS2017）　主ご自身が「わたしは決してあなたを見放さず、あなたを見捨てない」と言われたからです。 6ですから、私たちは確信をもって言います。「主は私の助け手。私は恐れない。人が私に何ができるだろうか。」 8イエス・キリストは、昨日も今日も、とこしえに変わることがありません。

コメント

へブル書はいくつかの実践的な日々の生活のための勧めを最後に書いています(1-5, 7節参照)。しかし、これらをまとめて勝利ある生活をするために覚えておくべきことを言っています。「神は、こう約束しておられます。「わたしはどんな場合にもあなたの期待にそむかず、あなたを見捨てない」（5節JCB）。また続けて私たちが告白し宣言すべきことを言っています。「ですから、私たちは確信をもって、こう答えることができます。「主は私を助けてくださいます。だから何もこわくありません。人間が、私にどんな手出しができましょう」。この確信の土台はこれです。「イエス・キリストは、昨日も今日も、いつまでも変わることがありません」（8節 JCB）。神が昔旧約の聖徒たちのためにされたことは今も、私たちのためにできることであり、これからも変わらず同じように働かれる神です。私たちはこの信仰に立ち、固く握り、絶対に手放してはいけません。もうすでにヘブルの著者はチャレンジされました。「このようなすばらしい祝福が待っているのですから、どんなことがあっても、主を信じ続けなさい。やがて主から受ける報いを思いなさい。．．．神の前に義と認められる人たちは、信仰によって生きるのです。しりごみするような人を、神は喜ばれません。 39私たちは、神に背を向けて滅びる者ではなく、信じていのちを得る者なのです」（10：35,39 JCB）。

Heb 13:5,6,8 (NIV84) because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” 6  So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

(TPT) For hasn’t he promised you, “I will never leave you alone, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!” 6 So we can say with great confidence: “I know the Lord is for me and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me!”  8 Jesus, the Anointed One, is always the same—yesterday, today, and forever.

Observation

The Book of Hebrews closes with some practical and daily life suggestions (v.1-5, 7 etc.) But the writer sums it up and gives us a few things to remember for living victoriously. God says, “I will never leave you alone.”   6 So I will declare with confidence, “I know the Lord is for me and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me.” (TPT)  The foundation of this confidence is this, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (NIV84) What he did in the ancient days past, throughout the OT, he can and will do today for us.  This is the faith we must stand in and hold on to,  faith in the Lord our God. The writer has already challenged us, “So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward!” 39  But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!” (Heb 10:35,39 TPT)
