知恵の泉（箴言）3:4-6, 9-10 （リビングバイブルJCB）　4-5神にも人にも喜ばれ、正しい判断力と英知を得たいなら、とことん主に信頼しなさい。決して自分に頼ってはいけません。6何をするにも、主を第一にしなさい。主がどうすればよいか教えてくださり、それを成功させてくださいます。9-10収入があったなら、まずその一部をささげて、主をあがめなさい。そうすれば、倉には食べ物があふれ、酒蔵は極上の酒で満たされます。

ソロモンは成功する人生をおくり、意味のある満足した人生を生きるためには必要な基礎的な要素を上げています。もうすでに最も重要なのは知恵であり、その知恵は主を恐れることから始まると言いました（箴言1:7参照）。次に、いかにしてこれを人生の中で実際的に歩みだすことができるかを教えています。まず、「心を尽くして主により頼め」（JSS2017）と言っています。別訳では「すべてのことにおいて、どこに行くにも主の声を聞くようにしなさい。そうすれば主が行くべき道を定めてくださる」（6節The Message 訳）。私たちの生活の中で最も重要なものの一つは私たちの持ち物であり経済です。正しく取り扱うために主の導きと助けが必要です。モーセの教えの中に具体的にささげ物について語られましたが、ここでソロモンはまとめています。「あなたの財産で主をあがめよ」（JSS2017）。The Message訳では「持ち物すべてをもって神をあがめよ。最初の分と最良のものを主に捧げよ」とあります。「そうすれば、あなたの蔵は満ちあふれ、あなたの酒ぶね（ぶどう酒を造るとこと）は噴き出るほど溢れます。」蔵は貯蓄場所です。酒ぶねは生産の場所です。私たちの最初の分と最良のものをささげる時にすべてが祝福されます（マラキ3:10-11も参照）。

Pro 3:5-6, 9-10 NIV84 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Observation

Solomon is still laying out the foundational basics of living a successful and meaningful life, how to live right.  He has already established that the most important element of living well is to gain wisdom and this wisdom comes from the fear of the Lord (see Pro 1:7).  Now he lays out how to also walk it out in our lives.  First, l “Trust the Lord with all your heart”, this also means “in all your ways acknowledge him” The MSG says it this way, “Listen for GOD’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.” (v.6 MSG)  One of the major areas of life that we need God’s help and guidance is in our finances and how we handle our money and possessions.  Based on the instructions given by Moses, he sums it up “Honor GOD with everything you own; give him the first and the best. 10 Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over.” (v.9-10 MSG) Barns represent how we store and stockpile what God has blessed us with.  The vats are how we produce our wealth.  When we honor God first and with the best, he promises to bless both (see also Mal. 3:10-11)
