エペソ3:6,9-10 （新改訳JSS2017）　（この奥義は）、福音により、キリスト・イエスにあって、異邦人も共同の相続人になり、ともに同じからだに連なって、ともに約束にあずかる者になるということです。9 また、万物を創造した神のうちに世々隠されていた奥義の実現がどのようなものなのかを、すべての人に明らかにするためです。10 これは、今、天上にある支配と権威に、教会を通して神のきわめて豊かな知恵が知らされるためであ（る）。

コメント

パウロは神の究極的計画と目的は長年間（世々に渡って）隠された「奥義」であると言っています。いわゆる、これまで、隠されて、理解されなかったけれども、今、明らかにされていると主張しています。「〔奥義とは次のことなのです。すなわち〕異邦人は、喜ばしい知らせ〈福音〉〔を受け入れること〕によってキリストにあって、今は〔ユダヤ人と〕同じ相続人仲間であり、同じ体の部分であり、また、神の同じきよい約束に〈あずかる〉共同参与者であるということです」（6節 詳訳聖書）。また、「〔その目的は〕教会（エクレシア）を通して、神の入り組んだ多方面の知恵がその限りない多様性〈無数の局面〉において、天にある霊的支配者と権威者〈いろいろの支配と権力〉に、今知られることにあります」（10節 詳訳聖書）。長い間隠されていた神の究極的計画と目的（奥義）が現わされ、実現されているのです。それはユダヤ人と異邦人が一つの体となり、一つの新しい人としてこの働きを地上にもたらしていること（悪魔のわざを滅ぼすこと、1ヨハネ3:8; 使徒の働き10:38など参照）、また、サタンと、共に働く支配と権力を引き落とすことです（黙示録12:10参照）。さらに、創造主があらかじめから、計画されていたものを回復し、実現させることです（使徒の働き3:20-21; 黙示録21:1‐6など参照；創世記1-2章も参照）。私たちはこの奥義と大きな働きに含まれているのです。

Eph 3:6,9,10 ESV  This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel….9 to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things, 10  so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

Observation

Paul talks about God’s ultimate plan and purpose as a mystery, hidden in ages past but now revealed and made plain.  The revealed mystery is “that the Gentiles are now to be fellow heirs [with the Jews], members of the same body and joint partakers [sharing] in the same divine promise in Christ through [their acceptance of] the glad tidings (the Gospel) (v.6 AMP).” And “[The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere.” (v.10 AMP)  God’s great plan and purpose (mystery) is being revealed and brought to fulfillment by bringing all of his people (Jews and Gentiles) together in one body, One New Man, to accomplish his work here on earth, to destroy the works of the devil (see 1John 3:8; also Acts 10:38), to cast down Satan and all of his powers and dominions (see Rev 12:10), and to restore all he originally planned from the beginning (see Acts 3:20-21; also Rev 21:1-6; see also Gen 1-2). We are a part of this great mystery and work.
