箴言 19:3,8,16 (新改訳JSS2017)　 人の愚かさは自らの道を滅ぼす。（そして）その心は主に向かって激しく怒る。8良識を得る者は自分自身を愛する者。英知を保つ者は幸いを見つける。16命令を守る者は自分のたましいを保ち、(神が示された)自分の道を蔑む者は死ぬ。

コメント

他のところで箴言は助言しています:「人が見て自ら正しいとする道でも、その終りはついに死に至る道となるものがある」(箴言 14:12 口語訳; 繰り返されています 16:25)。正しく生きる道と間違った(悪い)道がある。創造主は私たちを造られただけではなく、正しく生きるための取説も与えてくださいました、神のみことばです。人生を最大限に生きて、祝福されたいのなら、神の道を選び歩まなければなりません。正しく(まっすぐ)に見える自分の道を選んでも、神の道と沿っていなければ、それは滅びと死への道です。しかし、その選択の結果結ばれる実を体験し、神のせいにし、怒ることがある。なんと愚かなことでしょう。神はイスラエルに選択を与えました。「私は今日、あなたがたに対して天と地を証人に立てる。私は、いのちと死、祝福とのろいをあなたの前に置く。あなたはいのちを選びなさい。あなたもあなたの子孫も生き、20 あなたの神、主を愛し、御声に聞き従い、主にすがるためである。まことにこの方こそあなたのいのちであり、あなたの日々は長く続く。あなたは、主があなたの父祖、アブラハム、イサク、ヤコブに与えると誓われたその土地の上に住むことになる」(申命記 30:19-20 JSS2017)。

Pro 19:3,8,16 NLT  People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the LORD. 8 To acquire wisdom is to love oneself; people who cherish understanding will prosper. 16 Keep the commandments and keep your life; despising them leads to death.

Observation

This advice is given in another proverb: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” (Pro. 14:12 NIV84; repeated again in 16:25) There is a right way and a wrong (bad) way to live.  The Creator God who created us also gave us an instruction manual for living, the Word of God.  If we want to get the most out of life and to walk in His blessings, we must choose his ways.  When we choose our own ways, even if it seems right to us, the end is death and ruin, if it does not align with God’s ways.  But often when we experience the fruit of our choices, we then get angry and blame God!  How foolish!  The Lord God gave Israel a choice, “This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” (Deut 30:19-20 NIV84)
