コメント

主の名前は主ご自身(性格、性質、徳性)の全てを現すものです。神はアブラハムに言いました。「わたしは全能の神である。あなたはわたしの前に歩み、全きものであれ」(創世記 17:1 JSS2017)。また、モーセにも言いました。「わたしは『私はある』という者である」 (出エジプト記 3:14 JSS2017)。主なる神を現すいくつかの名前をあげてみましょう。ヤーウエイ‐ツッケヌ、主は私の義； ヤーウエイ‐マカデシェム、主は私を聖別される方； ヤーウエイ-エレ、主は備え主； ヤーウエイ-ラファ、主はいやし主； ヤーウエイ-ラー、主は私の羊飼い； ヤーウエイ-サバオテ、万軍(天の軍勢)の主； ヤーウエイ-シャローム、主は私の平和(平安)； ヤーウエイ-シャマ、主はここにおられる。私たちにどんな必要があっても、主はそれを満たし、与えられる神です。ゆえに、そこに、その名に逃げ込み、かくまうことができます。

Pro 18:10 NIV84 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Observation

The name of the Lord is the representation of who He is. God told Abram, “I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless.” (Gen 17:1 NIV84)  He told Moses: “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.'” (Exo 3:14 NIV84)  Here are some other names that God is known by: Yahweh-Tsudkenu, The Lord our Righteousness; Yahweh-Maccaddeshem, Lord My Sanctifier; Yahweh-Jireh, Lord My Provider; Yahweh- Rapha, Lord My Healer; Yahweh-Raah, Lord My Shepherd; Yahweh-Sabbaoth, Lord of Heavenly Armies; Yahweh-Shalom, Lord My Peace; Yahweh-Shammah, Lord Who Is Present.  Whatever our need is, That is who He is and will meet it.  The Godly, Righteous, those who trust him can run to him who is our strong tower and be safe.
