箴言(知恵の泉) 20:24 (リビングバイブル JCB)　 主が私たちの歩みを導いてくださいます。人は自分に起こることすべてを理解することなどできるでしょうか。

どんなに理解しようとしても、何といっても、人生は奥義があります。私たちに起こることの中に、私たちには理解しがたい、何得しにくいこともありますが、それでも、私たちは主に全てを委ねて、詳細に至るまで導き、働いてくださる神に信頼することができます。「正しい人は、主の導きに従って歩みます。主はその一歩一歩をお喜びになるのです。24たとえ倒れても、それで終わりではありません。主がしっかり支えておられるからです」 (詩篇 37:23-24 JCB)。「人は心に計画を立てます。しかし、それを確かなものにするのは神です」(箴言 知恵の泉 16:9 JCB)。私たちの将来について主はこのように約束しています。「わたしは、おまえたちのために立てた計画をよく知っている。それは災いではなく祝福を与える計画で、将来と希望を約束する」(エレミヤ 29:11 JCB)。だから、全てを信頼して委ねることができます。「主に信頼して人を思いやり、親切にしなさい。そうすれば、この地に安住し、成功を収めることもできます。4主を喜びとしなさい。主は心の願いをみな、かなえてくださいます。5自分のしようとすることをみな、主にゆだねなさい。信頼する者を、主は助けてくださいます。6あなたの潔白は、だれの目にも明らかになります。神は、真昼の太陽のように　まぶしい正義の光をあてて、弁護してくださいます」(詩篇 37:3-6 JCB)。

Pro 20:24 NLT The LORD directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?

Observation

Life at best is a mystery.  So many things we do not understand or comprehend, but can trust that the Lord knows every detail and purpose in our lives. “The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. 24 Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.” (Psa 37:23-24 NLT) “We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.” (Pro 16:9 NLT).  Here is the Lord’s promise to us about our future. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jer 29:11 NLT). 

Application

I want to understand my ways and the things that happen along the way, but there are somethings that will always remain a mystery.  Still I know that God is directing my steps and that he has a good plan for my life and I trust his promise to give me “a future and a hope.” “Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. 4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.” (Psa 37:3-5 NIV84)
