マルコ 2:5 （新改訳 JSS2017）　イエスは彼らの信仰を見て、中風の人に「子よ、あなたの罪は赦された」と言われた。

時には私たちは肉体的な問題が一番大きな問題と考えたりしますが、しかし、みことばによると最も重大な問題は私たちを神から引き離す罪であると教えています。「むしろ、あなたがたの咎が、あなたがたと、あなたがたの神との仕切りとなり、あなたがたの罪が御顔を隠させ、聞いてくださらないようにしたのだ」（イザヤ59:2 JSS2017）。バプテスマのヨハネは言いました。「見よ、世の罪を取り除く神の子羊」（ヨハネ1:29 JSS2017）。罪の問題が取り扱われると他の問題も取り扱うことができます。ダビデはくりかえし言いました。「罪を赦された人は、どれほど幸せなことでしょう。罪がすっかり消された喜びは、どれほど大きいことでしょう。罪を告白し、その記録を消し去ってもらった人は、どれほど解放感を味わうことでしょう」（詩篇32:1-2 JCB）。罪の赦しも、肉体の癒しも、キリストの贖いの十字架に含まれています。罪の問題を取り扱われ、赦されると、肉体の癒しも受けることができます。「まことに、彼は私たちの病を負い、私たちの痛みを担った。それなのに、私たちは思った。神に罰せられ、打たれ、苦しめられたのだと。5しかし、彼は私たちの背きのために刺され、私たちの咎のために砕かれたのだ。彼への懲らしめが私たちに平安をもたらし、その打ち傷のゆえに、私たちは癒やされた」（イザヤ53:4-5 JSS2017）。ゆえに、主イエスの贖いを喜び、罪の赦しと体の癒しを主なる神に賛美することができるのです。「わがたましいよ　主をほめたたえよ。主が良くしてくださったことを何一つ忘れるな。主は　あなたのすべての咎を赦しあなたのすべての病を癒やし　あなたのいのちを穴から　贖われる。主は　あなたに恵みとあわれみの冠をかぶらせ　あなたの一生を　良いもので満ち足らせる。あなたの若さは　鷲のように新しくなる」。

Mar 2:5  NIV84 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

Observation

Sometimes we think our physical situation and circumstances are our biggest problem, however the Scriptures are clear that the most pressing need is our spiritual need which begins with our separation from God. “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” (Isa 59:2 NIV84)  John the Baptist declared, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29 NIV84) When the sin issue is dealt with, the other issues in life can also be dealt with. David said this repeatedly, “Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 2 Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.”(Psa 32:1-2 NIV84)  Physical healing and forgiveness of sins are all included in the redemption of Jesus.  Once the sin issue is dealt with and we are forgiven then God can also heal any physical ailments that are a result of sin.  “Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isa 53:4-5 NIV84) Now we can rejoice in all Jesus has done for us by his death on the cross. “Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits— 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psa 103:2-5 NIV)
