マルコ 5:27-29 彼女はイエスのことを聞き、群衆とともにやって来て、うしろからイエスの衣に触れた。「あの方の衣にでも触れれば、私は救われる」と思っていたからである。すると、すぐに血の源が乾いて、病気が癒やされたことをからだに感じた。

コメント

この女の信仰はすごいです。イエスのことをどこかで聞かれて、イエスには自分を癒す（きよめる）力があると信じました。しかし、彼女の信仰はイエスに祈ってもらうとか、手を置いてもらうとかではありませんでした。ただ触れる接点があれば癒しをいただけるという信仰でした。「せめて、この方の着物にでも手を触れさせていただけば、きっと治る」（JCB）。そのとおり、イエスの衣のすそに触れた時、瞬間的に治りました。イエスは後に彼女に言いました。「娘さん。あなたの信仰があなたを治したのです」（34節 JCB）。それはイエスの衣やすそに力があったのではなく、触れる接点によって信仰が働いたからです。「そこで人々は病人をみなイエスのもとに連れて来て、せめて、衣の房にでもさわらせてやってください、とイエスに懇願した。そして、さわった人たちはみな癒やされた」（マタイ14:35-36　JSS2017; マルコ 3:10; ルカ 6:19なども参照）。ふれあいの接点によっていやしが働きましたのですが、信仰がいやしをもたらしたのです。ペテロが足の不自由な男を癒した時に言いました。「このイエスの名が、その名を信じる信仰のゆえに、あなたがたが今見て知っているこの人を強くしました。イエスによって与えられる信仰が、この人を皆さんの前で、このとおり完全なからだにしたのです」（使徒の働き 3:16 JSS2017）。信仰によって癒しの力が働きますが、その信仰をもたらすふれあいの接点が必要な時もあります。しかし、信仰は神のことばを聞くことから始まります（ローマ10:17参照）。

Mar 5:27-29 NLT  She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind Him through the crowd and touched His robe. 28 For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.

Observation

The faith of this woman is amazing!  She had heard about Jesus and his power to heal, but she came to receive it for herself.  But her faith was not in having Jesus heal (and cleanse) her but to receive healing simply through a point of contact.  “If I can just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” (NIV84)  When she did, she was immediately healed.  Jesus later told her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.” (v. 34 NLT)  It is not the robe or tassels or the touch that heals but rather the faith exercised through the point of contact.  “People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.” (Matt 14:35-36 NIV84; see also Mark 3:10; Luke 6:19 etc.) The point of contact releases faith that heals but it is faith that heals. Peter explained when the lame man was healed, “By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.” (Acts 3:16 NIV84; see Jam 5:15 etc.)  Faith releases healing power but many times a point of contact releases faith.
