マルコ7:15,20-23 （新改訳JSS2017）　外から入って、人を汚すことのできるものは何もありません。人の中から出て来るものが、人を汚すのです。」イエスはまた言われた。「人から出て来るもの、それが人を汚すのです。21内側から、すなわち人の心の中から、悪い考えが出て来ます。淫らな行い、盗み、殺人、22姦淫、貪欲、悪行、欺き、好色、ねたみ、ののしり、高慢、愚かさで、23これらの悪は、みな内側から出て来て、人を汚すのです。」

コメント

イエスは心についての教えを続けます。　私たちを汚すのは外からの影響ではなく、内側にあるものです。心にあるものです。だからダビデは祈りました。「神よ　私にきよい心を造り　揺るがない霊を　私のうちに新しくしてください」（詩篇　51:10 JSS2017）。神はまた言いました。「わたしがきよい水をあなたがたの上に振りかけるそのとき、あなたがたはすべての汚れからきよくなる。わたしはすべての偶像の汚れからあなたがたをきよめ、26あなたがたに新しい心を与え、あなたがたのうちに新しい霊を与える。わたしはあなたがたのからだから石の心を取り除き、あなたがたに肉の心を与える」（エゼキエル 36:25-26 JSS2017）。これはまた、「心の割礼」とも言います。それは包皮を切り取るように、肉の欲と悪を取り除くことです（申命記 30:6; エゼキエル 11:19-20; コロサイ2:11なども参照）。そこで箴言も言っています。「何よりも、あなたの心を守りなさい。心は生活全体に影響を与えるからです」（箴言4:23 JCB）。

Mar 7:15,20-23 NIV84 Nothing outside a man can make him ‘unclean’ by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him “unclean.'” 20 He went on: “What comes out of a man is what makes him ‘unclean.’ 21 For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and make a man “unclean.'”

Observation

Jesus continues his instructions about the heart. It is not the outward that defiles or purifies.  It is what is in the heart. That is why David prayed, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (Psa 51:10 NIV84)  God also says, “I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezk 36:25-26 NIV84) This is also called “circumcision of the heart” which is the cutting away of the flesh in covenant relationship with God (see Deut 30:6; Ezk 11:19-20; Col 2:11 etc.).  That is also why Proverbs tells us, “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” (Prov 4:23 NIV84)
