マルコ 11:22-24（新改訳 JSS2017）　イエスは弟子たちに答えられた。「神を信じなさい。23まことに、あなたがたに言います。この山に向かい、『立ち上がって、海に入れ』と言い、心の中で疑わずに、自分の言ったとおりになると信じる者には、そのとおりになります。24ですから、あなたがたに言います。あなたがたが祈り求めるものは何でも、すでに得たと信じなさい。そうすれば、そのとおりになります。

コメント

イエスは弟子たちにことばの力、信仰による祈りと宣言の力を実例をもって教えようとしてました。私たちは何をしても、信仰、神への信頼に基づくべきです。しかし、特に私たちの祈りは信仰によらなければなりません。イエスは前の日にイチジクの木を呪って、今日はかれていました。弟子たちは驚きました。イエスはこのことによって私たちのことばと宣言に力があることを教えています。箴言には、「死と生は舌に支配される」（箴言8:21 JSS2017）とあります。使徒ヨハネは後に手紙で説明しています。「何事でも神のみこころにしたがって願うなら、神は聞いてくださるということ、これこそ神に対して私たちが抱いている確信です。私たちが願うことは何でも神が聞いてくださると分かるなら、私たちは、神に願い求めたことをすでに手にしていると分かります」（1ヨハネ 5:14-15 JSS2017）。私たちが「神の御心に従って願うなら」と言っています。私たちの祈り、宣言によって霊の領域で物事が動くのです。イエスは祈りの力についてくりかえし教えています。（マタイ 7:7-11; 21:22; ヨハネ14:13; 15:7; 16:24など参照）。しかし、祈りの目的はただ私たちが欲しいものを何でも手に入れるためではありません。神の御心が実現し、神に栄光（あげられて、あがめられる）ためです。「またわたしは、あなたがたがわたしの名によって求めることは、何でもそれをしてあげます。父が子によって栄光をお受けになるためです」（ヨハネ14:13 JSS2017）。

Mar 11:22-24 ESV  And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. 23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Observation

Jesus is illustrating the power of our words and faith declarations and the prayer of faith.  Everything we do should come from our faith and trust in God.  But prayer is especially connected to our faith.  Jesus had cursed the fig tree the day before and now it has dried up.  The disciples are amazed, but Jesus is teaching them the power and authority we have with our words and with our decrees.  Proverbs teaches us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (Prov 18:21 ESV)  Apostle John explains this in his letter, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.” (1Jn 5:14-15 ESV) It is only as we speak (ask or declare) “according to his will” that we will have what we say.  Things move and change in the spirit world when we declare the word and will of God with our mouth.  Jesus taught the power of prayer (requests and declarations) over and over again (Matt 7:7-11; Matt 21:22; John 14:13; 15:7; 16:24 etc.) The purpose of our prayers is not just so that we can have what we want but to see God glorified (lifted up and magnified).  “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.” (John 14:13 NIV84)
