マルコ12:24,26,27 （新改訳JSS2017）　24イエスは彼らに言われた。「あなたがたは、聖書も神の力も知らないので、そのために思い違いをしているのではありませんか。26死人がよみがえることについては、モーセの書にある柴の箇所で、神がモーセにどう語られたか、あなたがたは読んだことがないのですか。『わたしはアブラハムの神、イサクの神、ヤコブの神である』とあります。27神は死んだ者の神ではなく、生きている者の神です。あなたがたは大変な思い違いをしています。」

コメント

みことばを正しく理解し、神の存在の真理と真実を知ることはいかに大切なのでしょうか？イエスはパリサイ人（宗教指導者たち）に直面されました。彼らは神のことばを宗教的儀式とおきてだけにとどめて、神に関する全体的な真理を見逃していました。主なる神は主権者（王の王）であられますが、この世の権威と支配をも定められた方です（14-17節参照）。半面サドカイ人（主に政治的指導者たち）は霊的世界と領域を否定し、天使や霊の存在はなく、死後も存在しないといっていました（18-23節参照）。イエスは彼らの両方に言いました。みことばを正しく理解していないし、神の力も認めていない。神は全能者であり、永遠（始まりも終わりもない）神である。神ご自身が真理と真実を定めた方です。この世界の法則も、霊の世界の法則と原理もあらかじめから定められた方です。このことを見過ごせば、この世だけではなく、来る世においても、大きな誤解と間違いを起こすのです。神は生きた者の神であると言っていますが、それはこの世に生きている者も、霊の世界で生きている者も含みます。ダニエルはこの方の姿を見て言いました。「私がまた、夜の幻を見ていると、見よ、人の子のような方が　天の雲とともに来られた。その方は『年を経た方』のもとに進み、その前に導かれた。14この方に、主権と栄誉と国が与えられ、諸民族、諸国民、諸言語の者たちはみな、この方に仕えることになった。その主権は永遠の主権で、過ぎ去ることがなく、その国は滅びることがない」（ダニエル7:13-14 JSS2017）。パウロはこの神をこのように説明しました。「どうか、世々の王、すなわち、朽ちることなく、目に見えない唯一の神に、誉れと栄光が世々限りなくありますように。アーメン」（1テモテ 1:17 JSS2017）。間違えたり、誤解したりしないように気をつけましょう。

Mar 12:24,26,27 NIV84  Jesus replied, “Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? 26 Now about the dead rising—have you not read in the book of Moses, in the account of the bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!”

Observation

How important is it to proper understand the Scriptures and to know the truth of who God is?  Jesus was confronted by Pharisees who thought they knew the law but had so twisted it into a religious performance that they missed the truth that though God is the Sovereign over all (King of all kings), he does establish authority here on earth (see v.14-17). The Sadducees on the other hand rejected any spiritual aspect of the Scriptures and only saw it as a moral guide for living in this life (no angels or spiritual beings and no resurrection or after-life). Jesus challenged them by saying they did not truly understand Scriptures and the truths therein, nor the power of God (He is Omnipotent and Eternal).  God himself is the one who establishes truth and reality, whether natural or spiritual, He has all the laws of nature and the spirit world.  To get this wrong was does not affect life in this world but also in the world to come; God is the God of the living, who are alive whether in this world or in the spirit world to come. Daniel saw God in his glory and reality, Dan 7:13  “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.” (Dan 7:13-14 NIV84) Paul declared, “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (1Tim 1:17 NIV84)
