今日のことば

マルコ5:34,37,38 （新改訳JSS2017）　そして三時に、イエスは大声で叫ばれた。「エロイ、エロイ、レマ、サバクタニ。」訳すと「わが神、わが神、どうしてわたしをお見捨てになったのですか」という意味である。しかし、イエスは大声をあげて、息を引き取られた。すると、神殿の幕が上から下まで真っ二つに裂けた。

コメント

イエスが死なれた瞬間、我らの罪を追うわれたため、父なる神から完全に断絶されました。しかし、同時にその同じ瞬間、私たちが父なる神のところに近づくことができ、私たちの創造主なる神と和解を成し遂げられました。イエスは叫びました。「わが神、わが神、どうしてわたしをお見捨てになったのですか」。同時に「私たちのために、この新しい生ける道を開いてくださいました」（へブル10:20 JSS2017）。これはエルサレムの神殿の垂れ幕が上から下まで真っ二つに裂けたことによって象徴されました。「19こういうわけで、兄弟たち。私たちはイエスの血によって大胆に聖所に入ることができます。22心に血が振りかけられて、邪悪な良心をきよめられ、からだをきよい水で洗われ、全き信仰をもって真心から神に近づこうではありませんか」（へブル10:19,22 JSS2017）。それゆえに私たちはさとされています。「ですから私たちは、あわれみを受け、また恵みをいただいて、折にかなった助けを受けるために、大胆に恵みの御座に近づこうではありませんか」（へブル4:16 JSS2017）。これがイエスが私たちのためになされたことです。「神は、罪を知らない方を私たちのために罪とされました。それは、私たちがこの方にあって神の義となるためです」（2コリント5:21 JSS2017）。

祈り：主イエス様。ありがとうございます。あなたは神の子羊として世と罪を取り除いてくださいました（ヨハネ1:29,34； 黙示録5:6,8,12,13参照）。御前でただ礼拝し賛美することしかできません。私の全てを御前にささげ、恵みの御座に進み、ひれ伏します。そして、全ての贖われた者と共に宣言します。「屠られた子羊は、力と富と知恵と勢いと誉れと栄光と賛美を　受けるにふさわしい方です」（黙示録 5:12 JSS2017）。アーメン。

Mar 15:34, 37-38 NIV84  And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”—which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” 37 With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. 38 The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

Observation

The moment of Jesus death was when he experienced complete separation from the Father God, because he took our sin.  But it was also the very moment that the way was opened for us to be brought before the Father God and be completely reconciled with our Maker and Father God. Jesus cried, “My God, My God why have you forsaken me?” But it was also the very moment that “a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body.” (Heb 10:20 NIV84) This was symbolized by the curtain in the Temple in Jerusalem being torn in two from top to bottom. “Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,… 22  let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.” (Heb 10:19,22 NIV84).  That is also why we are admonished, “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Heb 4:16 NIV84)  This is what Jesus did for us. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2Cor 5:21 NIV84)

Prayer

Thank you Lord Jesus! You are truly the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world.  (see John 1:29,34; Rev 5:6,8,12,13) I can only worship and praise you with all I am and all I have.  You are my Lord Jesus Christ and I come before your Throne of Grace and bow before you.  “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” (Rev 5:12 NIV84) Amen.
