詩篇53:6 （新改訳 JSS2017）　ああ　イスラエルの救いがシオンから来るように。神が御民を元どおりにされるとき　ヤコブは楽しめ。イスラエルは喜べ。

コメント

この節は詩篇14:7にも同じく書かれていますが、「主が御民を元どおりにされるとき．．．」とあります（他のいくつかの写本にも、この箇所で「主」となっています）。この「主」は「ヤーウエイ」（わたしは有る、救い主、贖い主をあらわす名であり、御民を回復される方です。また、それは、シオンから出るとあります。シオンは神の聖なる臨在が住まわれるところです（詩篇76:2参照）。シオンは主が御座に着座し治められるところです（詩篇9:11; 110:2; 132:13 など参照）。主の助けと救いが出るところです（詩篇20:2参照）。主の栄光の光が放たれるところです（詩篇50:2参照）。シオンは、ダビデの幕屋が建てられたところとして意義があります。新約において宣言しています。「救い出す者がシオンから現れ、ヤコブから不敬虔を除き去る」（ローマ11:26　JSS2017）。新約ではシオンを教会として解釈しています（へブル12:22-24参照）。詩篇126篇は主がこの救い、贖い、回復をなされたときの喜びを表しています。「主がシオンを復興してくださったとき　私たちは夢を見ているもののようであった。．．．主が私たちのために大いなることをなされたので私たちは喜んだ。主よ．．．私たちを元どおりにしてください」（詩篇126:1,3,4；　1-6参照）。だから喜ぶのです。

Psa 53:6 NIV84  Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

Observation

This verse is repeated in Psa 14:7 where it says, “The Lord (Yahweh) restored the fortunes of his people.” (also multiple manuscripts use “Yahweh” here also.  It is the “I AM” (The Redeemer and Savior) who saves and restores the fortunes of his people.  Also he does it from Zion, the place where His holy presence dwells (see Psa 76:2). Zion is where the Lord sits enthroned and rules (see Ps 9:11; 110:2; 132:13 etc.) It is where the Lord’s help and salvation come from (see Psa 20:2).  It is where “God shines forth” (see Psa 50:2).  The significance of Zion is, that is where the Tabernacle of David was situated.  In the NT it is declared, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob” (Rom 11:26 ESV)  The NT also interprets for us that Zion is the Church (Heb 12:22-24) Psa 126 is a Psalm about rejoicing “When the Lord brought back the captives of Zion” and “…Restore our fortunes.”   (see Psa 126:1-6) “We were like those who dream. 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” (Psa 126:1-2 ESV)
