詩篇58:10-11（新改訳JSS2017）　正しい人は　復讐を見て喜び　その足を　悪しき者の血で洗う。11こうして人は言う。「まことに　正しい人には報いがある。まことに　さばく神が地におられる。」

コメント

主なる神は全地の審判者です。「主は　地をさばくために来られる。主は　義をもって世界をさばき　公正をもって諸国の民をさばかれる」（詩篇98:9 JSS2017; 創世記 18:25も参照）。悪しき者が思うままに悪を行い不正と悪を持ってふるまい、正しい者は不正に苦しめられているように見えても、最終的には審判者なる神は悪者をさばき、正しい者を報われます（伝道の書 3:16-17参照）。その時すべての人は言います。「まことに　正しい人には報いがある。まことに　さばく神が地におられる」（ローマ2:5-6も参照）。絶対に忘れてはなりません。「主は、ある人たちが遅れていると思っているように、約束したことを遅らせているのではなく、あなたがたに対して忍耐しておられるのです。だれも滅びることがなく、すべての人が悔い改めに進むことを望んでおられるのです」（2ペテロ3:9 JSS2017）。

Psa 58:10-11 (NIV84) The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked. 11 Then men will say, “Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.”

Observation

The Lord God is the righteous judge of all the earth. “For He is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness He shall judge the world, And the peoples with equity” (Psa 98:9; see Gen 18:25 also). Even though it might look like the wicked are getting their way and getting away with all their injustice and wickedness, and the righteous are suffering injustice, in the final end, God will judge the wicked and reward the righteous (see Ecc 3:16-17).  And all will say, “Surely there is a God who judges the earth.” (see also Rom 2:5-6)   We must never forget, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2Pet 3:9 NKJV).
