２列王記 7:9 （リビングバイブルJCB）　そうこうしているうち、彼らは互いに言いました。「こんなことをしていてはいけない。この良い知らせを、まだ、だれにも伝えていないではないか。明日の朝まで黙っていようものなら、きっと恐ろしい罰を受けるだろう。さあ、宮殿にいる人々に知らせよう。」

町の中では攻囲の結果、苦しみと苦難と飢えに圧倒されているときに、町の外には四人のらい病人たちがいました。彼らはそのツァラアトの病のゆえに、町から、社会から除外され、不潔なものとされていました。彼らは自分たちの間で話しました。「死ぬまで、ここにじっと座っていてもしかたない。 ここにいても飢え死にするだけだし、町に入っても同じことだ。それなら、いっそ出て行って、シリヤの陣営に投降しよう。助かればもうけものだし、殺されても、もともとだ」（3-4節 JCB）。しかし、敵の陣営に入ったとき、だれもいません。彼らは戦車や馬の音を聞いて、責められていると思い込み、命からがら逃げて行ったのです、馬もロバもおいて。この四人は天幕に入って、飲み食い、分捕りものを取り、また次の天幕に行きました。でも、そのとき互いに言いました。「こんなことをしていてはいけない。この良い知らせを、まだ、だれにも伝えていないではないか．．．さあ、宮殿にいる人々に知らせよう。」彼らは社会から、多くの人々から、拒絶され、汚れたものとみなされていましたが、この良きおとずれを独り占めにすることができませんでした。私たちはもっと素晴らしい、偉大な「グッド・ニュース」、キリストの福音をいただいているものです。イエスは弟子たちに言いました。「悔い改めてわたしのもとに立ち返る人は、だれでも罪が赦されます。この救いの知らせは、エルサレムから始まり、世界中に伝えられるのです」（ルカ24:47 JCB）。そして、命じました。「全世界に出て行きなさい。すべての人々にこの福音を宣べ伝えるのです」（マルコ 16:15　JCB）。今日、この良い知らせをだれと分かち合うことができるでしょうか？「良い知らせを伝える人の足は、山々の上にあって、なんと美しいことか。平和を告げ知らせ、幸いな良い知らせを伝え、救いを告げ知らせ、「あなたの神は王であられる」と　シオンに言う人の足は」（イザヤ52:7 JSS2017）。

2Ki 7:9 NLT  Finally, they said to each other, “This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.”

Observation

In the midst of all the pain and suffering that the siege is causing within the city of Samaria there are four lepers sitting outside of the city gates because they are unclean and outcasts.  Here is what they said among themselves, “Why should we sit here waiting to die? …We will starve if we stay here, but with the famine in the city, we will starve if we go back there. So we might as well go out and surrender to the Aramean army. If they let us live, so much the better. But if they kill us, we would have died anyway.”” (v.3-4 NLT)  But when they arrived at the Aramean camp, no one was there, they had all fled because God caused them to “hear” a great army approaching.  The lepers entered a tent and ate and drank to their fill and then went to another tent.  They also took much spoil.  But then they said to each other, “This is not right.  This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone!” Even though they were outcasts and had been rejected by society, they could not keep the good news to themselves.  We have been given even greater “Good News” of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus told his disciples, “It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of His name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: ‘There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.’” (Luke 24:47 NLT) And then he commanded them, “”Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (Mark 16:15 NLT)  With whom should we share the Good News today?  “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!” (Isa 52:7 NLT)
