ホセア 2:23 （リビングバイブルJCB）　その時わたしはイスラエル人という種をまき、自分自身のためにそれを育てる。「あわれみをかけられなかった」者たちをあわれみ、「わたしの民ではない」者たちに、「今、おまえたちはわたしの民だ」と言おう。すると彼らは、「あなたこそ私たちの神です」　と答える。

コメント

この箇所で（14-23節）神は奥深い愛の心をあらわし、主から迷い離れたイスラエル（またほかのだれであれ）をご自分のところに引き寄せようと願っています。彼女に優しく語りかけると約束しています（14節参照）。彼女をイスラエルの地に連れ戻し、そこにもう一度植えると言っています（15，23節参照；　〔これは1948年に起こりひじまった〕）。イスラエルはもう一度主に向かって、「私の主人（バアル）」と呼ばず、「私の夫」と呼ぶ」（16節参照；　〔義務からではなく、愛の心から応答する〕）。主は彼女を祝福し、呪いをくつがえす（18-22節参照；　申命記 28章も参照）。主は愛の契約を新たに結ぶ（18節参照）。そして約束します。「正義と公平、愛とあわれみの鎖で、永遠にあなたをわたしにつなぎとめる。真実と愛をもって、あなたと婚約する。その時、以前とは全く違って、ほんとうにわたしがわかるようになる」（19-20節 JCB）。そして宣言してます。「わたしは、わたしのために地に彼女を蒔き、あわれまれない者をあわれむ。わたしは、わたしの民ではない者に　『あなたはわたしの民』と言い、彼は『あなたは私の神』と応える」（23節 JSS2017）。パウロはこの預言的約束を取り上げて私たちにも適用しています。「聖書のホセア書に何と書いてあるか、思い出してください。神は、こう言っておられます。「わたしは自分のために、ほかの子ら（ユダヤ人以外の家系の者）を見つけ出し、だれからも愛されたことのない、その子らを愛する。26そして、かつては　『わたしの民ではない』と宣告された異教徒たちが、『生ける神の子ら』と呼ばれるようになる」（ローマ9：25-26 JCB）。

Hos 2:23 NLT  At that time I will plant a crop of Israelites and raise them for Myself. I will show love to those I called ‘Not loved.’ And to those I called ‘Not My people,’ I will say, ‘Now you are My people.’ And they will reply, ‘You are our God!'”

Observation

In this passage (v.14-23) God expresses his deepest heart’s desire to draw Israel (and anyone else) who has strayed away from the Lord.  He promises to love her and “speak tenderly to her” (see v. 14).  He will bring her back to the land of Israel and plant her there once again (see v.15, 23;  this began in 1948).  Israel will once again call the Lord “My Husband”, not “My Master” (see v.16, serve the Lord out of love and not duty).  The Lord will bless her and reverse the curse (see v. 18-22;  also cf. Deut 28). The Lord will renew his covenant of love (v.18).  His promise to her is “I will make you My wife forever, showing you righteousness and justice, unfailing love and compassion. 20  I will be faithful to you and make you Mine, and you will finally know Me as the LORD.” (v. 19-20 NLT).  And this is where he declares once again, “I’ll plant her in the good earth. I’ll have mercy on No-Mercy. I’ll say to Nobody, ‘You’re my dear Somebody,’ and he’ll say ‘You’re my God!'” (v.23 MSG).  Paul extends this prophetic promise to us as well. “Hosea put it well: I’ll call nobodies and make them somebodies; I’ll call the unloved and make them beloved. 26 In the place where they yelled out, “You’re nobody!” they’re calling you “God’s living children.” (Rom 9:25-26 MSG).
