詩篇 63:1-4（リビングバイブルJCB））　ああ神よ。いったいどこにおられるのですか。一滴の水もない、からからの荒れ地で、私は必死になって神を慕い求めています。2神の聖所へ行ってお力とご栄光を拝したいと、どれほど願っていることでしょう。3私にとって、あなたの愛と恵みは、いのちよりも大切なのです。ああ、あなたはなんとすばらしいお方でしょう。4生きている限り、私はあなたをほめたたえ、両手を上げて祈ります。

コメント

この詩篇は神と神の臨在に対する私の心を最も表している一つの詩篇です。ダビデは追放され、亡命者として荒野で逃げ周りました。これは彼にとって、最もつらい、難しい季節でしたが、その荒野のただ中でも、彼の思いと心は神と神の臨在に向けました。そして心から神を礼拝し賛美することを決心しました。くりかえしダビデはこのように応答しました。荒野や砂漠地帯のようなところでも、賛美と礼拝の場所へと変えました。ダビデは神の臨在のただ中に住まうことを何より願っていました。他の詩人も言いました。「万軍の主よ　あなたの住まいは　なんと慕わしいことでしょう。私のたましいは　主の大庭を恋い慕って　絶え入るばかりです。私の心も身も　生ける神に喜びの歌を歌います」（詩篇84:1-2 JSS2017）。さらに続けて言っています。「まことに　あなたの大庭にいる一日は　千日にまさります。私は悪の天幕に住むよりは　私の神の家の門口に立ちたいのです」（詩篇84:10 JSS2017）。ダビデはどんな境遇の中にあっても、主を礼拝することを決心しました。「日ごとに私はあなたを心から熱烈に礼拝します。私の手を賛美の旗（幟）のように振るいます」（63:4 The Passion Translationから ）。

My lips brim praises like fountains. 4 I bless you every time I take a breath; My arms wave like banners of praise to you.

Observation

David is banished and running for his life in the Judean wilderness.  It is one of the most difficult times in his life but he turns his mind to thoughts of God and his presence and his heart overflows with paise and worship for God.  This is how he responds time and again.  Even in the desert and wilderness experiences of his life, he turns them into places of worship and praises the Lord as if he were in the very presence of God.  David longed to be in the presence of God. “How lovely is Your dwelling place, O LORD of Heaven’s Armies. 2 I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.” (Psa 84:1-2 NLT) This psalmist goes on to say, “A single day in Your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.” (Psa 84:10 NLT).  David determines to worship the Lord even in these dire circumstances, “Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of praise. “ (v.4 TPT)
