詩篇65：1-2（リビングバイブル JCB）　ああ、シオンに住まわれる神。私たちは賛美を内に秘めながら、あなたを待っています。そして、私たちの誓いを果たします。神は祈りに答えてくださるお方なので、あらゆる人が願い事を携えて集まります。

我らの神は祈りを聞かれる神です。神は祈りを聞かれるだけではなく、祈りを通してのみ働かれます。私たちは祈りを聞かれる神に祈り求めなければならにとみことばはくりかえし語っています。「しかし、神は身を乗り出すようにして、私の祈りを聞き届けてくださいました。祈りの声を退けず、恵みと愛を　豊かに注いでくださった神をほめたたえます」（詩篇66：19-20 JCB）。「そして、真心から願い出る人のそば近くにいてくださるのです。主は、敬虔な心で信頼を寄せる人々の願いを、かなえてくださいます。助けを呼び求める声を聞いてくださいます」（詩篇145：18-19 JCB）。「その時になったら、わたしはおまえたちの祈りに耳を傾ける。 真剣に探し求めるなら、おまえたちはわたしを見つけることができる」（エレミヤ 29:12-13 JCB）。「祈りも同じです。あきらめずに求め続けなさい。そうすれば与えられます。捜し続けなさい。そうすれば見つかります。戸をたたきなさい。そうすれば開けてもらえます。 求める人は与えられ、捜す人は見つけ出し、戸をたたく人は開けてもらえるのです」ルカ 11:9-10 JCB）。弟子たちが願い求めたように私たちも主イエスに願いましょう。「私たちにも祈りを教えてください」（ルカ。11：1 JCB）

Observation

We pray to the God who answers prayer!  God not only answers prayer, but he only works in answer to prayer.  Here are some other verses that confirm this: “But God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. 20 Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! (Psa 66:19-20 NIV84).  “The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. 19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.” (Psa 145:18-19 NIV84). “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jer 29:12-13 NIV84). “”So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Luke 11:9-10 NIV84).  Along with the disciples, let’s ask Jesus, “Teach us to pray.” (Luke 11:1 NIV84)
