詩篇68:1-3（リビングバイブルJCB）　ああ神よ、立ち上がってください。敵どもを追い散らし、あなたの前から逃げ去らせてください。2煙が風で吹き払われ、ろうが火で溶けるように、悪党どもが神の御前で滅ぼされますように。3正しい者たちは、躍り上がって喜びますように。歓喜にあふれますように。

（ERV、「読みやすい訳」）神が立ち上がりさえすれば　散らばってく彼の敵　全ての敵はあなたから　 一目散に逃げていく2煙が風に吹かれる様に　あなたは敵を吹き飛ばす　ロウが炎で溶けてく様に　敵がどんどんバラバラに　あなたが来れば敵　うろたえ　あなたによって滅ばされる3正しいことをする者に　どうか幸せ送ってよ　神の前に集まって　お互い一緒に楽しんでる。

神は漠然とした、ぼんやりしている方ではありません。黙っていて、ご自分を現さないとき、関わっていない、働いていないと見える時、ある者は笑い、あざけります、軽視します。しかし、神が立ち上がるときにすべてが変わる。悪しき者風に飛ばされる煙のように、炎に入れられたロウのように溶けて消えます。神が立ち上がる時、栄光に満ちた、力強い者としてあらわれます。その力は輝かしいさをちらつかせるだけではなく、すべてのものに影響が及びます。特に、身分の低い者、弱い者、助けが必要なものに：独りぼっち、孤独な者、孤児、囚人、家に残された主婦にも（13節参照）。そして、敵の王またその軍隊は追い散らされます。「主をあがめ、その全能の力をほめ歌いなさい。13主は、だれも立ち向かえない勇敢な戦士となり、激しい怒りを敵に見せつけます。ときの声を上げ、敵を蹴散らします。14主は長い間沈黙を守り、じっとこらえてきましたが、今は怒りをぶちまけ、子を産もうとしている女のようにあえぎます」（イザヤ42:12-14 JCB）。主なる神は立ち上がっています。「神が私たちの味方なら、誰が私たちに敵対できるでしょう」（ローマ 8:32 JSS2017）。

Psa 68:1-3 NLT  For the choir director: A song. A psalm of David. Rise up, O God, and scatter Your enemies. Let those who hate God run for their lives. 2 Blow them away like smoke. Melt them like wax in a fire. Let the wicked perish in the presence of God. 3 But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy.

(MSG) Up with God! Down with his enemies! Adversaries, run for the hills! 2 Gone like a puff of smoke, like a blob of wax in the fire– one look at God and the wicked vanish. 3 When the righteous see God in action they’ll laugh, they’ll sing, they’ll laugh and sing for joy.

Observation

God is not nebulous or without power and glory.  When He doesn’t seem to be involved or actively at work, some people tend to laugh at him and dismiss him.  However when he arises everything changes. The wicked are blown away like smoke, they melt like a blob of wax in the fire.  When God arises, he is glorious and powerful. But his power is not just on dazzling display but it has an effect on everyone, especially the lowly and helpless: homeless, prisoners, even ordinary housewives. But enemy kings and their armies flee.  “Let the whole world glorify the LORD; let it sing His praise. 13 The LORD will march forth like a mighty hero; He will come out like a warrior, full of fury. He will shout His battle cry and crush all His enemies. 14 He will say, “I have long been silent; yes, I have restrained Myself. But now, like a woman in labor, I will cry and groan and pant.”(Isa 42:12-14 NLT). God is arising. “If God is for us, who can be against us.” (Rom 8:32)
