詩篇 69:16-18（リビングバイブルJCB）　ああ主よ、私の祈りに答えてください。あなたの恵みはすばらしく、あわれみにあふれています。17どうかお姿を隠さないでください。早く来て、苦しみのどん底から救ってください。18主よ、駆けつけて来て、救い出してください。敵の手から守ってください。

ここでダビデがまた心底から熱烈に祈り、叫び求めています。苦しみのどん底にあって、多くの者が彼におそいかかってきているとき、ダビデは、自分の叫びを聞き、聞いて助けることのできる、救ってくださる方に呼ばわっています。主のいつくしみとあわれみと恵みと慈愛に信頼を置いています。イザヤも同じことを言っています。「私は神の恵みを人々に知らせます。そのなさったすべてのことのゆえに神をたたえます。私はまた、イスラエルに示された　神の深いあわれみを喜びます。神は愛によって、あわれみを示したのです」（イザヤ63:7 JCB）。ゆえにダビデは主なる神に向かって呼び求めています。主は力ある神であるが、自分の友でもある。この力ある神に、「救ってください」（助けてください、贖ってください）と懇願しているのです。パウロはこのように言いました。「神の恵みにより、キリスト・イエスによる贖いを通して、価なしに義と認められるからです」（ローマ3：24 JSS2017）。「御父は、私たちを暗闇の力から救い出して、愛する御子のご支配の中に移してくださいました。この御子にあって、私たちは、贖い、すなわち罪の赦しを得ているのです」（コロサイ 1:13-14 JSS2017）。救い出し、贖ってくださる主に私たちの信頼を置き、呼び求めましょう。

Psa 69:16-18 TPT Oh, Lord God, answer my prayers! I need to see your tender kindness, your grace, your compassion, and your constant love. Just let me see your face, and turn your heart toward me. Come running quickly to your servant. In this deep distress, come and answer my prayer. Come closer as a friend and redeem me. Set me free so my enemies cannot say that you are powerless. 

Observation

Here is another heart-felt passionate prayer from David. In the midst of dire distress and with many turning against him, he turns to the one that he knows can and will save him.  He puts his trust in the tender kindness, grace, compassion and constant love of the Lord God. Isaiah says the same thing: “I will tell of the kindnesses of the LORD, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the LORD has done for us— yes, the many good things he has done for the house of Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses.” (Isa 63:7 NIV84).  This is why David turns to God.  He also sees the Lord as a friend who will not leave hm in distress.  And he appeals to the power and might of God, “Set me free” (rescue and redeem me). This is what Jesus came to do and complete. “(We) are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Rom 3:24 NIV84). “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14  in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Col 1:13-14 NIV84).  Let us call on and put our trust in the one who can save and redeem us.
