詩篇 71:1-2 （新改訳JSS2017）　主よ　私はあなたに身を避けています。私が決して恥を見ないようにしてください。あなたの義によって私を救い　助け出してください。あなたの耳を私に傾け　私をお救いください。

コメント

この詩人の守りと救いを祈り求める詩です。救うことのできると知っている方に叫び求めています。そして、その方がどのような方であるかを告白、宣言しています。「私の避け所の岩となってください。いつでもそこに入れるように。あなたは私の救いを定められました。あなたは私の巌　私の砦なのです」（3節 JSS2017）。さらに、なぜこの方に信頼することができるかを言っています。「神である主よ　あなたは私の望み　若い日からの拠り所。私は生まれたときから　あなたに抱かれています。あなたは私を母の胎から取り上げた方。私はいつもあなたを賛美しています。私は多くの人にとって奇跡と思われました。あなたが私の力強い避け所だからです。私の口にはあなたへの賛美が　あなたの栄えが絶えず満ちています。」（5-8節 JSS2017）。神への信仰と信頼を強めるのは、主がどのような方であるかを告白すること、どのように今まで助け、守ってくださったかを宣言することです。ゆえに、今の現状においても、神に身を避け、信頼することができます。

Psa 71:1-2 NLT  O LORD, I have come to You for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. 2 Save me and rescue me, for You do what is right. Turn Your ear to listen to me, and set me free.

Observation

This is a psalmist’s prayer for protection and salvation. He calls to the one he knows can help him and declares who he is.  “Be my rock of safety where I can always hide. Give the order to save me, for You are my rock and my fortress.” (v.3 NLT) “O Lord, You alone are my hope. I’ve trusted You, O LORD, from childhood.” (v.5 NLT)  Then he tells why he comes to him now for help. “Yes, You have been with me from birth; from my mother’s womb You have cared for me. No wonder I am always praising You! 7 My life is an example to many, because You have been my strength and protection. 8 That is why I can never stop praising You; I declare Your glory all day long.” (v.6-8 NLT).  One of the ways to build our faith and trust in God is to declare who he is and then what he has done for us.  Then we can trust him for the present situation we face.
