詩篇 71:14,19（リビングバイブルJCB）　あなたが助けてくださると信じて待ちます。ますますあなたをほめたたえます。19 神よ。あなたの力と恵みは天の天にまで届きます。あなたほどすばらしいことをなさった神が、ほかにあるでしょうか。

コメント

詩篇は神の輝かしい御業と働きを多くたたえて、賛美しています。この詩人は宣言しています。「主なる神の力をおびて歩き回り、正しくて恵み深いお方はあなただけだと伝えましょう。17ああ、子どもの時から私を助けてくださった神よ。私は機会あるごとに、あなたのすばらしいわざを、人々に伝えてきました。18私は年をとり、髪は白くなりましたが、どうか見捨てないでください。神のすばらしい奇跡を　次の世代に伝えさせてください」（16-18節 JCB）。神の素晴らしわざは私たちで留めないように、次の世代に伝え、証しなければなりません（詩篇78：4,6；145:4-5なども参照）。イエスが天に変えられる直前に私たちに残された言葉は「全世界に出て行きなさい。すべての人々にこの福音（グッド・ニュース、良き知らせ）を宣べ伝えるのです」（マルコ16:15 JCB）。誰に神のすばらしい御業を伝えていますか？

Psa 71:14, 19 TPT  No matter what, I’ll trust in you to help me. Nothing will stop me from praising you to magnify your glory! 19  For your glorious righteousness reaches up to the high heavens. No one could ever be compared to you! Who is your equal, O God of marvels and wonders? 

Observation

Psalms is full of the declaration and praise of God’s glorious works and wonders.  The psalmist declares, “Who is your equal, O God of marvels and wonders?”  But he want the next generation to know all of his miracle-wonders.  “From my childhood you’ve been my teacher, and I’m still telling everyone of your miracle-wonders!  God, now that I’m old and gray, don’t walk away. Give me grace to demonstrate to the next generation all your mighty miracles and your excitement, to show them your magnificent power!” (v.17-18 TPT ) God’s glorious works must not stop with us.  Keep telling it to the next generation (see also Psa. 78:4,6; 145:4-5). Jesus last words were, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (Mark 16:15 NLT).  Who are we telling about God’s marvelous and wonderful works?
