黙示録 14:3 （リビングバイブルJCB）　彼らは、玉座の前、また四つの生き物と長老たちの前で、新しい歌のたぐいをうたった。この歌は、地上から贖われた十四万四千人の者たちのほかは、覚えることができなかった。

コメント

天は賛美と礼拝で轟きます。ヨハネはこのように描いています、「大水のとどろくような音、また激しい雷のような音が天から響くのを聞いた。わたしが聞いたその音は、琴を弾く者たちが竪琴を弾いているようであった」（2節 JCB）。またここで十四万四千人が現れます（彼らは、「あらゆる国民、種族、民族、言葉の違う民の中から集まった、だれにも数えきれないほどの大群衆」を表しています（7:9 JCB）。そして、彼らは贖われた者だけが歌うことのできる新しい歌を歌っています（黙示録5:9-10でこの歌の手がかりがあるかもしれません）。みことばを通して神の民（聖徒たち）は新しい歌を歌うようにと言われています（詩篇33:3; 40:3; 96:1; 98:1; 144:9; 149:1; イザヤ 42:10）。誰も歌ったことのない新しい歌をどのように歌うのでしょうか？パウロは教えています。「御霊に満たされなさい。詩と賛美と霊の歌を持って．．．主に向かって心から賛美し、歌いなさい」（エペソ5:18-19; コロサイ3:16も参照）。賛美、礼拝、歌うことは天国の空気です。永遠に私たちは賛美にかかわります、そして、御霊によって新しい歌を歌う時、天国に踏み入れ、少しばかり味わうのです。今日あなたの新しい歌を主に歌い、天国を味わいましょう。

Rev 14:3 NIV84  And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

Observation

Heaven reverberates with worship and praise. John describes the thunderous praise, “like the roar of rushing waters, like a loud peal of thunder…like that of harpists playing their harps.”  We again see the 144,000 (representing “a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language…” Rev 7:9).  They are singing a new song that only the redeemed could sing (another song gives a hint, see 5:9-10).  God’s people (the saints) are repeatedly told to sing a new song (Psa 33:3; 40:3; 96:1; 98:1; 144:9; 149:1; Isa 42:10).  How do we sing a new song no one else has ever sung?  Paul instructs us, “Be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs…making music to the Lord in your heart.” (Eph 5:18-19; see also Col 3:16).   Singing, worship and praise, is something we will be involved in for all of eternity, but we step into that heavenly realm when we begin singing a new spiritual song that is birthed by the Holy Spirit.  Sing your new song today and experience a little taste of heaven.
