ヨハネ21:12-13 （新改訳 JSS2017）　イエスは彼らに言われた。「さあ、朝の食事をしなさい。」弟子たちは、主であることを知っていたので、だれも「あなたはどなたですか」とあえて尋ねはしなかった。イエスは来てパンを取り、彼らにお与えになった。また、魚も同じようにされた。

イエスが弟子たちと共に（共同で）現れたのが3回目とここでヨハネが言っています（14節参照；前にエルサレムで2回、そしてここ、ガリラヤ湖で現れた 20:19,26参照）。よみがえりのイエスは同じイエスであり、なじむところもあるが、何か違う面もあるようです。しかし、イエスはいくつかのことによって確かにご自身であることを証明しました。まず、大量の魚を奇跡的にとらせて、ペテロが最初にイエスに出会った時のことを思い出させたでしょう。また、食事を用意したことも、以前5000人を養われた時と同じように、パンと魚を彼らに与えました。また、数日前にも、十字架に行かれた直前に、最後の晩餐の時パンを取って裂かれたことをも思い出されたかもしれません。同じことを同じように行われたので、イエスであることが分かりました。同じ心、同じふるまいでされたのを見られました。イエスはいつも同じ心、同じ性質でおられますので、イエスであることを認識することができます。なじみのある方であるから、認識できます。もっとイエスと親しみましょう。もっと親密になりましょう。そうすれば、どんなときにも、どんな現れで来られても、認識することができます。イエスはこのようにも言われました。「わたしは良い牧者です。わたしはわたしのものを知っており、わたしのものは、わたしを知っています。ちょうど、父がわたしを知っておられ、わたしが父を知っているのと同じです」（ヨハネ10:14-15 JSS2017; 10:27も参照）。

Joh 21:12-13 ESV  Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish.

Observation

John tells us that this was the third time Jesus revealed himself to the disciples as a group (see v. 14; twice in Jerusalem and now in Galilee, see 20:19,26).  It seems that although there was something familiar in his resurrection body yet something different.  But Jesus proves it is indeed himself by several things.  He repeats the miracle of the catching of fish which was how Peter first meets Jesus.  He provides food for them, again similar to several previous occasions, the feeding of the five thousand, and also at the Passover meal they had shared before the crucifixion. We can recognize Jesus presence because he comes in the same spirit and character.  We recognize him because he is familiar. Let’s get to know Jesus personally and intimately so that we recognize him whenever he shows up. “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father.” (John 10:14-15 ESV; see also 10:27).
