民数記 6:2,8 （新改訳JSS2017）　「イスラエルの子らに告げよ。男または女が、主のものとして身を聖別するため特別な誓いをして、ナジル人の誓願を立てる場合、．．．8ナジル人としての聖別の全期間、彼は主に対して聖なるものである。

コメント

全イスラエルは神のために聖別され、きよめられたものとされていましたが、ナジル人は特に自分自身を一定の期間神様に聖別し、ささげた者でした。ある者は生まれた時から、また、生まれる前から、聖別されましたナジル人でした（サムソン、サムエル、バプテスマのヨハネなど）。彼らはナジル人の誓願を立て、自分を神にささげ、仕える者としました。旧約時代にはこのナジル人はぶどうとぶどうの木から来るものを食べたり飲んだりすることができませんでした（ぶどう、干しぶどう、ぶどう酒、ぶどうジュースなど）。また、彼らは死体に触れてはなりませんでした。これは外見的な拘束でしたが、内面的な聖別と聖さを現していました。新約聖書では私たちも神によってきよめられた者となり、聖別された者とならなければならないと教えられています。「しかし、主に愛されている兄弟たち。私たちはあなたがたのことについて、いつも神に感謝しなければなりません。神が、御霊による聖別と、真理に対する信仰によって、あなたがたを初穂として救いに選ばれたからです」（２テサロニケ2:13 JSS2017）。「あなたがたは知らないのですか。あなたがたの体は、あなたがたのうちにおられる、神から受けた聖霊の宮であり、あなたがたはもはや自分自身のものではありません。あなたがたは、代価を払って買い取られたのです。ですから、自分のからだをもって神の栄光を現しなさい」（１コリント6:19-20 JSS2017）。

Num 6:2,8 NIV84  “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If a man or woman wants to make a special vow, a vow of separation to the LORD as a Nazirite, …8 Throughout the period of his separation he is consecrated to the LORD.

Observation

All of Israel was separated unto the Lord, but the Nazarite was one who separated himself to God to dedicate themselves to serve the Lord for a specified time.  Some people were dedicated by their parents from birth and were to be Nazarites all their life (Samson, Samuel, John The Baptist etc.).  They took made a vow to dedicate themselves to the Lord and serve him in a separated, consecrated life.  In the OT the Nazarite was not to eat or drink anything connected to the grape or vine: grapes, raisins, wine, grape juice etc.  Also they were not to touch or come into contact with any dead body.  This was an outward expression of the inward dedication and separation unto God. All of Israel was separated unto God. In the NT we are all told to be separate and holy unto the Lord. “Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 18  “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” (2Cor 6:17-18 NIV84).  “But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.” (2Thes 2:13 NIV84).  “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” (1Cor 6:19 NIV84)
