詩篇 78:52-55 （リビングバイブルJCB） しかし、ご自分の民を羊の群れのように導き出し、荒野の道を無事に進ませてくださいました。53神が彼らを守られたので、彼らは恐れを感じることもありませんでした。結局、敵は海にのみ込まれて滅びました。54こうして彼らは、神が特別に備えてくださった、なだらかな丘陵の続く、祝福の地の入口まで　連れて来られたのです。55神はこの地に住みついている民族を追い払い、イスラエルの各部族に、領地を分配してくださいました。

コメント

みことばを通して、神は羊飼いとしてれ描かれ、私たち（神の民）を導き、守り、備えてくださるお方であると教えています。詩篇23篇を思い起こさせます。「主は私の羊飼いですから、必要なものはみな与えてくださいます」（詩篇23:1 JCB; さらに、詩篇79:13； 80:1； イザヤ40:11； ヨハネ10:11,14; ヘブル13:20 なども参照）。私たちと関わり、心がけてくださることをなんと美しく描写されているでしょう。しかし、これはまた、私たちも応答し、相互関係の中で、私たちの羊飼いを慕い、従わなければなりません。この詩篇（78篇）ではイスラエルが、主が羊飼いであることを忘れたり、あえて従わない者となったときに、いかなる結果を生み出されたかを教えています。覚えておきましょう。主は私の羊飼いです。私たちを相続地に導き入れるだけではなく、その道中も導き、守ってくださるお方です。最後まで私たちの羊飼いは導いてくださり、ついていてくださるのです。「それは、王座の正面に立たれる小羊が、羊飼いとして彼らを養い、いのちの水の泉に導いてくださるからです。また神は、彼らの目からあふれる涙を、すっかりぬぐい取ってくださるのです」（黙示録 7:17 JCB）。

Psa 78:52-55 NLT  But He led His own people like a flock of sheep, guiding them safely through the wilderness. 53 He kept them safe so they were not afraid; but the sea covered their enemies. 54 He brought them to the border of His holy land, to this land of hills He had won for them. 55 He drove out the nations before them; He gave them their inheritance by lot. He settled the tribes of Israel into their homes.

Observation

Throughout Scripture God is pictured as a Shepherd that leads, guards and provides for His sheep (His people). Psalms 23 of course comes to mind, “The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.” (Psa 23:1 NLT; but also Psa 79:13; 80:1; Isa 40:11; John 10:11,14; Heb 13:20 etc.).  This is such a beautiful picture of how the Lord relates to us and cares for us.  It also needs to be reciprocal.  But in this Psalm (78) it shows how Israel forgot that the Lord was their shepherd or refused to follow after him and the dire consequences of that choice.  Let’s remember, The Lord is my shepherd, He will not only lead us to the place of our inheritance, but also guide and protect us along the way.  And ultimately, “For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” (Rev 7:17 NLT)
