詩篇 80:3 （新改訳JSS2017）　神よ　私たちを元に戻し　御顔を照り輝かせてください。そうすれば　私たちは救われます。

（リビングバイブル）　ああ神様、おそばに戻らせていただきとうございます。 喜びと愛のまなざしを注いでください。 それこそ、私たちを救うものです 。

コメント

これはなげきの歌であり、神に立ち返り、その御顔の輝きをもう一度体験することができるようにと願っています。「御顔を照り輝かせてください」とは神が私たちを喜びと愛のまなざしで見てくださることを意味します。これは神の祝福のことばにも含まれているものです（民数記6:25参照）。契約の箱の上にあるケラビムの間（神の見える栄光が輝く臨在の場所）に座しておられるお方、イスラエルの牧者（羊飼い）に向けられている懇願です。この詩篇で詩人は3回もこの願いを繰り返しています（3,7,19節）。落ち込んで、絶望（失望）の中から、主に必死に祈り求め叫んでいるのです。主なる神が救ってくれなければ、救いの道はないと感じているのです。最後に切実に祈り求めています。「いとおしまれた、お気に入りの息子（自分のことです）を強めてください 。18 もう二度と、私たちは神様を捨てたりはしません。 私たちを再び生かし、神様への信頼を回復させてください。19 ああ神様、おそばに連れ戻してください。 私たちに向けられる御顔が、喜びと愛で明るく輝きますように。 それこそ、私たちを救うものです」（17-19節　リビングバイブル）。

Psa 80:3 AMP Restore us again, O God; and cause Your face to shine [in pleasure and approval on us], and we shall be saved!

Observation

This is a cry, a prayer of lament that God would once again turn his face of “pleasure and approval on us”.  It is an appeal to the Shepherd of Israel and the One who sits “enthroned upon the cherubim (of the ark of the covenant) (see v.1).  That is where the Shekinah glory was, the earthly expression of the presence of Yahweh, the Lord God.  The psalmist repeats this cry 3 times in this Psalm (v.3, 7,19).  This is what he desires more than anything else and what he knows is the answer to the desperation he now is experiencing.  “Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself. 18 Then will we not depart from You; revive us (give us life) and we will call upon Your name. 19 Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; cause Your face to shine [in pleasure, approval, and favor on us], and we shall be saved!” (v.17-19 AMP).
