詩篇86:1,5（リビングバイブルJCB）　ああ主よ、こちらを向いて、私の祈りをお聞きください。私は悩み果てています。5主は恵み深いお方で、赦すのをためらったりなさいません。助けを求めて来る人にはだれにでも、あふれるほどにあわれみをかけてくださいます。

ダビデが主なる神と出会い、祈りの願いを聞いて答えてくださるようにと必死に求める祈りです。神はどのようなお方であるかを思いおこしています。「しかし主よ。あなたはあわれみ深くて優しく、短気を起こさず、恵みと真実にあふれておられます」（15節 JCB）。だからこそダビデは確信を持って、ちゅうちょせず主の前に出て、助けてくださり、必要を満たしてくださるようにと求めるのです。「ですから、あなたのしもべである私にあわれみをかけ、力を与えて救い出してください。17私をお心にかけてくださっているというしるしを、見せてください」（16‐17節 JCB）。へブル書では同じようなことを言っています。「ですから躊躇せず、神の御座に近づいてあわれみを受け、時にかなって与えられる恵みをいただこうではありませんか」（へブル 4:16 JCB）。我らの神は私たちの祈りを聞き入れてくださるだけではなく、答えて助けてくださるお方です。「私たちは、神の御心にかなうことを願い求めるなら、いつでもその願いを聞いていただけると確信しています。 15私たちの願いに確かに神が耳を傾けてくださっているとわかれば、神は必ずその祈りに答えてくださると確信できるのです」（1ヨハネ 5:14-15 JCB）。

Psa 86:1,5 NLT  A prayer of David. Bend down, O LORD, and hear my prayer; answer me, for I need Your help. 5 O Lord, You are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for Your help.

Observation

A prayer of David when he is desperate to meet and hear from the Lord God.  David recounts who he knows God to be.  “You are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.” (v.5) You, O Lord, are a God of Compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.” (v.15) This is why he comes boldly and without hesitation before the Lord to ask for his help and to meet him.  “Look down and have mercy on me. Give Your strength to Your servant; save me, the son of Your servant.  Send me a sign of Your favor.” (v.16-17).  This is exactly what Hebrews tells us, “So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.” (Heb 4:16 TPT) God promises to hear and answer our prayers. “And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him. 15  And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for.  We can confidently and boldly bring our prayers to him.” (1John 5:14-15 NLT)
