エゼキエル 4:1-2 （新改訳 JSS2017）人の子よ。あなたは粘土の板を一枚取り、それを自分の前に置き、その上にエルサレムの町を描け。2それから、それに対する包囲網を張れ。それに対して塁を築き、包囲壁を作れ。それに対して陣営を設け、周りに城壁崩しを配備せよ。

コメント

主はエゼキエルに預言的な行為をもって、象徴的に神がいかにしてご自分の民の罪をさばかれるのかを表しました。エゼキエルは粘土の一枚の板に（多分60㎝ x 30㎝のものであったと考えられる）、エルサレムの町を彫像して描くように言われました。それから、「戦争ごっこ」をして、エルサレムの町に包囲をかけるように指示しました。また、預言的な行為として、横向けに何日も寝ながら、イスラエルの罪を負うことを現すようにと言われました（4節参照）。その後、また反対方でユダの罪を負うって数日寝るように指示されました（5節参照）。その間、わずかな食料を配分して取るように命じられました（9-10節参照）。水も毎日最低の量を飲まなければなりませんでした（11節参照）。これらはすべて預言的な描写をもってエルサレムと、ユダヤの人々にこれから起ころうとしていることを示されました。主はエゼキエルに説明しました。「そして私に言われた。「人の子よ、見よ。わたしはエルサレムで、パンの蓄えをなくそうとしている。彼らは恐る恐る量ってパンを食べ、おびえながら水を量って飲む。17こうしてパンと水が乏しくなり、だれもかれもが茫然として、自分たちの咎のゆえに朽ち果てる」（16-17節 JSS2017）。イザヤもこの神のさばきを示しこのように言いました。「むしろ、あなたがたの咎が、あなたがたと、あなたがたの神との仕切りとなり、あなたがたの罪が御顔を隠させ、聞いてくださらないようにしたのだ」（イザヤ59:2 JSS2017）。神は必ず罪をさばかなければなりません、また、必ずさばかれます。これは特に、我らの罪の身代わりなるイエスに負わせ、十字架上でその罪のさばきを成し遂げられることを指しています。罪の結果は悲惨のものであり、そのさばきは成就されなければなりません。しかし、イエスは身代わりとして私たちの罪を負うわれ、その罪のさばきは全うしました。それゆえ、私たちは父なる神と和解され、キリストの義を受け取る者とされました。「神は、罪を知らない方を私たちのために罪とされました。それは、私たちがこの方にあって神の義となるためです」（2コリント 5:21 JSS2017）。

Eze 4:1-2 ESV  “And you, son of man, take a brick and lay it before you, and engrave on it a city, even Jerusalem. 2 And put siegeworks against it, and build a siege wall against it, and cast up a mound against it. Set camps also against it, and plant battering rams against it all around.

Observation

The Lord instructs Ezekiel to do a prophetic act, a symbolic action with prophetic implications of how God will judge the sins of his people.  He is to draw the city of Jerusalem on a clay tablet (possibly 60cm x 30cm.) Then he is to play war and lay siege to the city of Jerusalem.  He is also told to lay on his side for many days as though he was bearing the sins of Israel and then more days on the other side to bear the sins of Judah (see v.4-8).  He is to only eat a small ration of bread each day and drink a small amount of water enough to barely sustain life but not to satisfy (see 9-15). All of this is prophetic imagery of what is going to happen to Jerusalem and the Jewish people still living in the city. The Lord explains, “He then said to me: “Son of man, I will cut off the supply of food in Jerusalem. The people will eat rationed food in anxiety and drink rationed water in despair, 17 for food and water will be scarce. They will be appalled at the sight of each other and will waste away because of their sin.”  Isaiah also prophesies about the consequences of sin, “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” God must and will punish sin. This also points to how God judged and punished sin that he put on Jesus as a substitute for us.  The consequence of sin are horrible and the judgment must be fulfilled, but Jesus took it upon himself so that he could reconcile us back again to the Father. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2Cor 5:21; see also v. 15-17).
