エゼキエル 7:10-12（新改訳 JDB）　見よ、その日だ。その日が来る。あなたの終局が来ている。杖がつぼみを出し、横柄さを花咲かせた。暴虐が起こって悪の杖となり、彼らもその群衆も、彼らの富もなくなり、彼らのために嘆く者もいなくなる。その時が来た。その日がやって来た。

コメント

この箇所を理解するためには新約の視点から見る必要があります。「思い違いをしてはいけません。神は侮られるような方ではありません。人は種を蒔けば、刈り取りもすることになります。8自分の肉に蒔く者は、肉から滅びを刈り取り、御霊に蒔く者は、御霊から永遠のいのちを刈り取るのです」（ガラテヤ 6:7-8 JDB）。神は恵み深い、あわれみに富んでいるお方ですが、私たちはその恵みを拒むなら、残されるのはさばきと崩壊です。箴言も警告しています。「わたしの叱責に立ち返れ。おまえたちにわたしの霊を注ぎ、わたしのことばを知らせよう。24わたしが呼んだのに、おまえたちは拒んだ。手を差し伸べたのに、耳を傾ける者はなかった。おまえたちはわたしの忠告をすべてなおざりにし、わたしの叱責を一つも受け入れなかった」（箴言1:23-24 JDB）。今こそ、恵みに答える時です（2コリント6:1-2参照）。

Eze 7:10-11 (NIV84)  “The day is here! It has come! Doom has burst forth, the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed! 11 Violence has grown into a rod to punish wickedness; none of the people will be left, none of that crowd—no wealth, nothing of value.

(NLT) “The day of judgment is here; your destruction awaits! The people’s wickedness and pride have blossomed to full flower. 11 Their violence has grown into a rod that will beat them for their wickedness. None of these proud and wicked people will survive. All their wealth and prestige will be swept away.

Observation

The only way to understand this is to see it from the NT perspective. “Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Gal 6:7-8 AMP).  God is very merciful and full of grace, but when we do not respond to his grace, the only thing left if judgment and destruction.  Proverbs warns,   “If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you. 24 But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand, 25 since you ignored all my advice and would not accept my rebuke, 26 I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you— 27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you.” (Pro 1:23-27 NIV84).  Now is the time to respond to his grace (see 2Cor 6:1-2).
