エゼキエル 9:4-5 （リビングバイブルJCB）　 「エルサレム中を巡り、この町で行われているあらゆる罪のために、泣き悲しんでいる者の額にしるしをつけなさい」と命じました。 5また、主がほかの男たちにこう言うのが聞こえました。「彼について行って、町中を巡り、額にしるしがついていない者を打て。惜しんだり、あわれんだりしてはならない。

コメント

主はさばきの日にどのように正しい者を救われるかをエゼキエルに見せています。さばきの時に送り出される死の使いを呼び出しました。六人現れましたが一緒にもう一人亜麻布をまとっている使いがいました。彼は筆を持っていました。そのさばきの御使いを送り出す前に、この筆を持っている者に町の中をめぐり、悪と忌まわしいことを嘆く者にしるしをつけるように命じました。この堕落した町の中にいながら、正しいことと悪を見分け、悪と忌まわしいことを悲しみ嘆いていて、正しいことが回復されることを願って言える者がいました。彼らの額にしるしをつけた後、死の使いたちは送り込まれ、しるしがない者を滅ぼすようにと命じました。神のさばきの時にいつも同じようにされます。出エジプトの時代に神はエジプト人と過ぎ越しの子羊の血を拒んだ者を滅ぼしながら、過ぎ越しの子羊の血を門柱とかもいに塗っている者を救われた（出エジプト記 12勝、特に12-13節参照）。また、ソドムとゴモラを滅ぼされたときにロトとその家族を救い出された〔創世記１９章参照〕。黙示録でさばきが注ぎだされたときも同じ（黙示録7:2-3参照）。ペテロはロトの例をあげて言いました。「しかし、同時に神は、正しい人であったロトをソドムから救い出しました。ソドムに住んでいた彼は、毎日、人々の不道徳なふるまいを見て、良心を痛めていたからです。 9このように、主は敬虔な者たちを誘惑から救い出し、神を恐れない人々には、最後の審判の日まで閉じ込めておかれるのです」（２ペテロ2:7-9 JCB）。同じように主はイエス・キリストの贖いによってしるしをつけられている信じる者、義を愛し悪を憎む者にしるしをつけて、守ってくださいます。「また、神のものとなった証拠の印を私たちに押し、私たちの心に御霊を遣わしてくださったのも神様です。御霊は、私たちが神のものであることの保証であり、また、神が下さる最初の贈り物です」（2コリント1:22 JCB；エペソ4:30-32も参照）。主イエス・キリストの印が私たちにも押されていることを確信しましょう。

Ezekiel 9:4-5 (NLT) He said to him, “Walk through the streets of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of all who weep and sigh because of the detestable sins being committed in their city.” 5 Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, “Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity!

Observation

The Lord is showing Ezekiel how he will choose those he will deliver and those upon whom wrath and judgment will be poured out. The Lord calls for angels of death and judgment and six of them appear, but there is another one who is dressed in linen and carrying a writer’s case.  He first sends this messenger (angel) through the city to mark certain ones to be spared of the judgment.  These are the ones who though living in the wicked city where all the detestable things are being done yet mourn and weep because of the wickedness. They still have a sense of right and wrong and want righteousness to be restored.  After these are marked for deliverance, the other six angel’s go through the city and kill all who are not marked.  At times of judgment this is always how God works, He works both judgment and deliverance at the same time (Judgment on the Egyptians and those who refused the blood of the Passover lamb, and the Israelites who had the blood of the lamb on their doorposts, see Exo 12 esp.12-13; God delivered Lot and his family and destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, see Gen 19; Judgment in Revelations see Rev7:2-3 etc.).   Peter uses Lot as an example.  “Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day. 9 So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.” (2Pet 2:8-9 NLT).  The Lord has also promised to mark (seal) believers in Jesus Christ and those who love righteousness and hate iniquity.  “Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.” (2Cor 1:21-22 NIV84; see also Eph 4:30-32). Let us make sure we have the mark (seal) Jesus Christ on our forehead and heart.
