エゼキエル 10:1(リビングバイブルJCB)　 突然、ケルビムの頭上の大空に、青く輝くサファイヤの王座のようなものが現れました。

エゼキエルはさばきと神の怒りが注ぎだされている中で、神の御座（王座）の幻を見ました。すべての上に王座があるのです。みことばのいくつかの箇所で神の御座の幻が記録されています。類似しているところもあれば、異なることもあります。それを見られた人々は人間のことばで説明し現そうとします（モーセとイスラエルの長老たちー出エジプト記24:10； エゼキエルーエゼキエル:22,26; 10:1； ダニエルーダニエル7:9； 使徒ヨハネー黙示録 4:2-3など参照）。主なる神は正義と公正の神であり、すべてのことを治める主権者です。悪と不義に対して注がれるさばきもその主権のもとにあります。しかし、神は勝手にほしいままに（恣意的、独断的に）される方でもなく、移り気（ムラッ気、斑気）にされる方でもありません。恵みとあわれみ豊か神でありますが、悪をさばかずにはおかれません。幻の中で亜麻布を来ている方（神のあわれみと恵みをもたらすものとしてあらわされています）が、与えられた真っ赤に燃える炭火をエルサレムの町にまき散らすように命じられました。これは神のきよめをもたらすさばきを表しますが、この方はまた、救い出される者に証印を押す方でもあります。この御座は同時に恵みの御座とも呼ばれ、私たちの必要に応じて恵みを受けることのできる御座でもあることを覚えておきましょう。私たちは神の御座のどちら側を見ているでしょうか?どちら側に立っているでしょうか?

Eze 10:1 (NLT) In my vision I saw what appeared to be a throne of blue lapis lazuli above the crystal surface over the heads of the cherubim.

Observation

Ezekiel sees a vision of the Throne of God in the midst of judgment and the wrath of God being poured out. Above it all is a throne.  In various places throughout the Scripture, there are recorded visions of the Throne of God.  There are similarities and differences in each.  Those that see it try to describe it in human terms (Moses and the elders of Israel – Exo 24:10; Ezekiel – Ezek 1:22,26; 10:1; Daniel – Dan 7:9; Apostle John – Rev 4:2-3 etc.).  The Lord God is a Righteous and Just Judge and Sovereign King over all, even over all the judgments that are poured out on wickedness and unrighteousness. He must judge wickedness.  Yet God is not arbitrary or capricious. He is merciful and gracious but will not leave the wicked unpunished.  In this vision God instructs the man in a linen garment (representing the mercy and the Lord’s ability to keep his people even in times of judgment) to take coals that are given to him and scatter them throughout the city of Jerusalem.  This represents the purifying judgments of God but this is the one that sealed the ones that were to be protected.  We must remember that this is the same Throne that is also called the Throne of Grace where we can come to receive grace in our time of need (see Heb 4:16).  Which aspect of the Throne of God do you see?
