エゼキエル 11:19-20 (リビングバイブルJCB)　 わたしはあなたがたに、一つの心と一つの新しい霊を与える。石の心を取り除き、代わりに神を愛する柔らかい心を与える。 20あなたがたがわたしのおきてを守れるようになるためである。こうしてあなたがたはわたしの民となり、わたしもまた、あなたがたの神となる。

コメント

これは神の心であり、イスラエルとのかかわりと私たちに対するかかわりの究極的目的であります。このことをエゼキエル書の中で繰り返し書かれています（18:31; 36:26 なども参照）。しかし、これは私たちの決断にもかかっています。私たちも主なる神に応答しなければなりません。主はご自分の民を戒めました。「悪の道をあとにして、新しい心と新しい霊を受けよ」（エゼキエル 18:31 JCB）。ダビデの悔い改めの祈りの中でこのように祈りました。「ああ神よ。どうか、きよい思いと正しい願いで満たされた、新しいきれいな心にしてください」（詩篇51:10 JCB）。パウロは私たちがどのようにこのことをすることができるかを教えています。「愛する皆さん。そういうわけですから、あなたがたにお願いします。あなたがたの体を、神に喜んでいただける、生きた、きよい供え物としてささげてください。それが神への礼拝となるのです。 2この世の人々の生活や考え方をまねてはいけません。むしろ、神に喜ばれることは何かを思いながら、なすこと考えることすべての面で生き生きとした、全く新しい人となりなさい」（ローマ12:1-2 JCB）。心を新たにすることから始まるのですが、主は心だけ新しくなることだけを求めておられるのではありません。すべてを新しくされる（回復、リニュアルする）ことを願っています。「ですから、だれでもキリストのうちにあるなら、その人は新しく造られた者です。古いものは過ぎ去って、見よ、すべてが新しくなりました。

これらのことはすべて、神から出ています。神は、キリストによって私たちをご自分と和解させ、また、和解の務めを私たちに与えてくださいました」（2コリント 5:17-18 JDB）。最終的には主なる神はすべてが新たにされることを目的としています。「見よ、わたしはすべてを新しくする」（黙示録 21:5 JDB）。でも、私たちの心から始まるのです。

Eze 11:19-20 (AMP)  And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God], [Ezek. 18:31; 36:26; II Cor. 3:3.]  20 That they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances, and do them. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

Observation

This is the heart of God and his ultimate goal in dealing with Israel and with us.  He repeats this several times throughout Ezekiel (see 18:31; 36:26 etc.) But this is also a choice that we must make.  We must respond to Him. The Lord challenges his people, “Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit.” (Ezek 18:31 NLT). David in his prayer of repentance asks, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psa 51:10 ESV).  Paul show us how we do this, “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (Rom 12:1-2 NLT).  Although it starts with the heart, the Lord wants more than just our heart, He wants everything in us to be made new (renewed).  “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” (2Cor 5:17-18).  Ultimately our Creator God’s purpose is to renew everything in all creation. “He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”” (Rev 21:5 NIV84).  But it all begins with our heart.
