今日のことば

エゼキエル　13:17-18 （リビングバイブルJCB）　「人の子よ。主からお告げを与えられているかのように装っている女預言者どもに、神である主はこう言うと語れ。『人々の手首に魔術のお札を結び、魔術のベールをかぶらせ、わたしの民のたましいを破滅させている女たちはのろわれよ。この女たちは、自分に利益がないと知ると、すぐに援助の手を引っ込める。』」

コメント

みことばの中で神は敬虔な女性たちを通して、語り、神の民を慰めたり、導かれました（ミリアム、デボラ、フルダなど）。しかし、主とその真理のことばからそれて、他の人々も神の道から背けようとした者もいました。多くの場合、占いや、魔術、オカルト的の行為は女性によって行われ、導かれます（みことばはこれらのものを固く禁じています）。神の民を迷わせて、神と神のことばから引き離そうとした女たちもいました（ デリラ、イゼベル、アタルヤなど）。黙示録の中で特に、神の民を迷わせ、偶像礼拝は不道徳に導く「イザベルの霊」の者に気を付けるようにと警告しています。「けれども、あなたには責めるべきことがある。あなたは、あの女、イゼベルをなすがままにさせている。この女は、預言者だと自称しているが、わたしのしもべたちを教えて惑わし、淫らなことを行わせ、偶像に献げた物を食べさせている」（黙示録2:20 SKY2017）。重要なのは女であることではなく、神のことばと真理に反することを語り、人々を迷わせて、罠におとしめていることです。主なる神とそのことば以外に信頼を置くようにと誘うのは偽りであり、危険なものです。困難な時、不安定な中で、何か安全と安心を与えるものにすがりたいのです。しかし、どこに私たちの安全を得るのかに気をつけましょう。「心を尽くして主に拠り頼め。自分の悟りに頼るな。あなたの行く道すべてにおいて、主を知れ。主があなたの進む道をまっすぐにされる。自分を知恵のある者と考えるな。主を恐れ、悪から遠ざかれ」（箴言 3:5-7 SKY2017）。

Eze 13:17-18 NIV84  “Now, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Prophesy against them 18 and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on all their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own?

Observation

Throughout Scripture God uses godly women to speak to and comfort his people (Miriam, Doborah, Huldah etc.).  But there are also godless women who have turned away from the Lord and the way of truth and lead others from God’s ways.  Many times, divination, fortune-telling, occultism is led or performed by women (Word of God strictly prohibits and condemns these.)  Even in Scriptures there are many women who led God’s people away from truth and His ways (Delilah, Jezebel, Athalia etc.) In Revelations God warns about the Jezebel spirit who was misleading God’s people into idolatry and immorality.  “Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.” (Rev 2:20 NIV84).  The point is not that it is a woman but that what is being said and taught is contrary to God’s truth and leading people into a deception that becomes a snare.  Anything that causes us to put our trust in something other that the Lord God and his Word, is false and dangerous.  In difficult and unsettling times, we want something that will give us security and something to cling to.  But let’s be very careful where we get our security.  “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.” (Prov 3:5-7 NIV84).
