ローマ 5:19（新改訳SKY2017）　すなわち、ちょうど一人の人の不従順によって多くの人が罪人とされたのと同様に、一人の従順によって多くの人が義人とされるのです。

コメント

パウロはアダムの不従順の一つの行いとキリストの従順の一つの行いを比較しています。アバムの不従順の罪によって人間人類がすべて、罪のゆえに死の宣告が下されました。しかし、イエスの義に基づく一つの完全な従順によってすべての人に神の前で義とされる賜物が送られました。「神は、罪を知らない方を私たちのために罪とされました。それは、私たちがこの方にあって神の義となるためです」（2コリント 5:21 SKY2017）。パウロはこの箇所をこのように結論を述べています。「それは、罪が死によって支配したように、恵みもまた義によって支配して、私たちの主イエス・キリストにより永遠のいのちに導くためなのです」（21節 SKY2017）。イエス・キリストの従順のゆえに、私たちは神の前で義とされる者となりました。

Rom 5:19 NLT  Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.
(NIV84) For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

Observation

Paul contrasts Adam’s one act of disobedience and sin with Christ’s one act of perfect obedience and righteousness.  Adam’s sin resulted in all man kind being under the death sentence of sin, whereas Jesus act of obedience in perfect righteousness the made the gift of righteousness available to all people. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2Cor 5:21 NIV84).  So Paul’s conclusion is this, “So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (v.21 NLT)
