ローマ 8:1-2 （リビングバイブルJCB）　こういうわけで、今は、キリスト・イエスに属する人が罪の宣告を受けることはありません。 2なぜなら、いのちを与える御霊の力が、罪と死の悪循環から解放してくれたからです。

私たちがいかにして神の前で正しい者とされ、義と認められるかの論議の結論です。ローマ書を通してパウロは言っています。「次のように書いてあるとおりです。「義人はいない。一人もいない」（3:10 SKY2017）。また、「すべての人は罪を犯したので、神の標準にはほど遠い存在です」（3:23 JCB）。そしてパウロは問うています。「私は本当にみじめな人間です。だれがこの死のからだから、私を救い出してくれるのでしょうか。25私たちの主イエス・キリストを通して、神に感謝します」（7:24-25 SKY2017）。次の節でパウロは自分の質問に答えています。「こういうわけで、今や、キリスト・イエスにある者が罪に定められることは決してありません」（8:1 SKY2017）。さらにそのわけを説明しています。「肉によって弱くなったため、律法にできなくなったことを、神はしてくださいました。神はご自分の御子を、罪深い肉と同じような形で、罪のきよめのために遣わし、肉において罪を処罰されたのです。それは、肉に従わず御霊に従って歩む私たちのうちに、律法の要求が満たされるためなのです」（8:3-4 SKY2017）。そしてこの結末に至るのです。「キリストがあなたがたのうちにおられるなら、からだは罪のゆえに死んでいても、御霊が義のゆえにいのちとなっています。イエスを死者の中からよみがえらせた方の御霊が、あなたがたのうちに住んでおられるなら、キリストを死者の中からよみがえらせた方は、あなたがたのうちに住んでおられるご自分の御霊によって、あなたがたの死ぬべきからだも生かしてくださいます」（8:10-11 SKY2017）。別の箇所でまたこのように宣言しています。「神は、罪を知らない方を私たちのために罪とされました。それは、私たちがこの方にあって神の義となるためです」（2コリント5:21 SKY2017）。

Rom 8:1-2 (ESV) There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

(NLT) So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

Observation

This is the conclusion that Paul leads to in his argument of how to be righteous before God.  “As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one.” (Rom 3:10 NIV84). “Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Rom 3:23 NLT) Paul then asks, “Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.” (Rom 7:24-25 ESV).  Paul answers his own question. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (NIV84). He then explains how this happens, “For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, 4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.” (Rom 8:3-4 NIV84). And here is the result, “But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.” (Rom 8:10-11 NIV84).  Elsewhere he also explains,  “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2Cor 5:21 NIV84)
