ゼカリヤ 13:1 （新改訳SKY17）　その日、ダビデの家とエルサレムの住民のために、罪と汚れをきよめる一つの泉が開かれる。

コメント

ゼカリヤ書は多くのメシヤの預言が含まれ、イエス・キリスト（メシヤ）によって成就されています。メシヤは義と救いをもたらす方で、ロバの子に乗って来られる（ゼカリヤ9:10参照）。多くの者は突き刺された方を仰ぎ見る（ゼカリヤ12:10 参照）。ヨハネの黙示録の中でその成就をこのように言っています。「見よ、その方は雲とともに来られる。すべての目が彼を見る。彼を突き刺した者たちさえも。地のすべての部族は　彼のゆえに胸をたたいて悲しむ。しかり、アーメン」（黙示録 1:7 SKY17）。そして、このメシヤはすべての人のためにきよめの泉を与えてくださいました（13:1）。イエスの十字架の贖いとみがわりの御業によって、罪と汚れをきよめる血を流してくださいました（1コリント6:11；テトス3:5-7；1ペテロ1:18-18など参照）。へブル書はこのように説明しています。「まして、キリストが傷のないご自分を、とこしえの御霊によって神にお献げになったその血は、どれだけ私たちの良心をきよめて死んだ行いから離れさせ、生ける神に仕える者にすることでしょうか」（へブル9:14 SKY17）。パウロもこのように説明しています。「神は、私たちが行った義のわざによってではなく、ご自分のあわれみによって、聖霊による再生と刷新の洗いをもって、私たちを救ってくださいました。神はこの聖霊を、私たちの救い主イエス・キリストによって、私たちに豊かに注いでくださったのです。7それは、私たちがキリストの恵みによって義と認められ、永遠のいのちの望みを抱く相続人となるためでした」（テトス 3:5-7 SKY17）。聖歌にはこのように記されています：「尊き泉あり　そのうちより　インマヌエルの血ぞ　溢れ流る　罪に悩む者　くぐりいらば　汚れは洗われ　染みは消されん（聖歌428番）。

Zec 12:10 NIV84 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. 13:1 “On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.

Observation

Zechariah has many Messianic prophecies which are and will be fulfilled by Jesus the Messiah.  The Messiah would come bringing righteousness and salvation, riding on a donkey (see Zech 9:10). They will look on the one they have pierced (Zech 12:10).  John refers to the fulfillment this way, “Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.” (Rev 1:7 NIV84).  And Zechariah tells us the result of the Messiah’s (Christ’s) coming would open a fountain that would be for the cleansing of all people (Jew and Gentile) (see 13:1).  Jesus, through the redeeming, atoning work of the cross has provided a cleansing from sin and impurity for all people. (see 1 Cor 6:11; Tit 3:5-7; 1Pet 1:18:19 etc.)  Hebrews explains it this way, “How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” (Heb 9:14 NIV84). Paul also tells us, “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:5-7 NIV84)  The hymn says it this way, “There is a fountain filled with blood  Drawn from Immanuel’s veins; And sinners, plunged beneath that flood, Lose all their guilty stains.” (William Cowper).
