詩篇91:1-4 （SKY17）　いと高き方の隠れ場に住む者　その人は　全能者の陰に宿る。2私は主に申し上げよう。「私の避け所　私の砦　私が信頼する私の神」と。 3主こそ　狩人の罠から　破滅をもたらす疫病から　あなたを救い出される。4主は　ご自分の羽であなたをおおい　あなたは　その翼の下に身を避ける。主の真実は大盾　また砦。

コメント
この詩篇は神に信頼し、身を寄せる者のための守りと保護を約束しています。詩篇の最初では著者（私たちの告白も含む）が宣言しています。「私の避け所　私の砦　私が信頼する私の神」。そして、詩篇の最後では主が宣言しています。「彼がわたしを愛しているから　わたしは彼を助け出す。彼がわたしの名を知っているから　わたしは彼を高く上げる。15彼がわたしを呼び求めれば　わたしは彼に答える。わたしは苦しみのときに彼とともにいて　彼を救い　彼に誉れを与える。16わたしは　彼をとこしえのいのちで満ち足らせ　わたしの救いを彼に見せる」（14-16 SKY17）。私たちは率先して、神の守りの下に身を置かなければなりません。また、主に私たちの愛を向けなければなりません（コロサイ3:1も参照）。この個人的な関係の中で、私たちは神の保護と守りの下に宿ることができるのです。詩篇18:2も言っています。「主はわが巌　わが砦　わが救い主　身を避けるわが岩　わが神。わが盾　わが救いの角　わがやぐら」（SKY17）。また、詩篇27:5にもあります。「それは　主が　苦しみの日に私を隠れ場に隠し　その幕屋のひそかな所に私をかくまい　岩の上に私を上げてくださるからだ」（SKY17）。そして、「主はあなたを守る方。主はあなたの右手をおおう陰。6昼も　日があなたを打つことはなく　夜も　月があなたを打つことはない。 7主は　すべてのわざわいからあなたを守り　あなたのたましいを守られる。8主はあなたを　行くにも帰るにも　今よりとこしえまでも守られる」（詩篇121:5-8 SKY17）。

Psa 91:1-4 (AFV)  He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Whom I will trust.” 3 Surely He will deliver you from the fowler’s trap and from the destroying pestilence. 4  He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 

Observation
This Psalm declares the promise that God’s protection is available for all who put their trust in him.  It starts of with the Psalmist declaring, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”  And, ends with the Lord declaring, “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.” (v.14-16 AFV) We must actively place ourselves under his protective care and “set our love upon him.” (see Col 3:1-3). It is a personal relationship that places us under His care and protection. Psalms 18:2 says, “ The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” (NLT)  Also, Psalms 27:5 says, “ For He will conceal me there when troubles come; He will hide me in His sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock.” (NLT)  Psalms 121:5-8 “ The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; 8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” (NIV84)
