詩篇101:1-2（リビングバイブルJCB）　主よ。あなたがどんなに恵み深く　公正なお方であるかを、ほめ歌います。2私は潔白な道を歩もうと心がけていますが、神の助けなしには何もできません。特に、御心にそった歩みをしたいと　せつに願う家庭の中でこそ、助けていただきたいのです。

コメント
これはダビデの詩篇と言われていますが、ダビデ王の治世の初めに書かれたと思われています。自分の家だけではなく、国を治めることにおいての心からの願いを表しています。恵とさばき、いつくしみと公正はバランスの取れた正義の支配（統治）の土台です。どちらも必要ですが、片方を強調し、他方をおろそかにしてはならないのです。主がモーセにご自分を現されたときに宣言されました。「わたしは主である。あわれみと情けに富み、怒るのに遅く、恵み深い神である。わたしは愛と真実の神である。 7わたしは人々の罪を赦し、千代にもわたって彼らを愛し通す。しかしまた、罰すべき者を見過ごしにはしない」（出エジプト記 34:6-7 JCB; 詩篇89:14; マタイ23:23も参照）。恵とさばき、いつくしみと公正をどちらも心得て、主に従いつつ生きて行きましょう。

Psa 101:1-2 (AMP)  A Psalm of David. I WILL sing of mercy and loving-kindness and justice; to You, O Lord, will I sing. 2 I will behave myself wisely and give heed to the blameless way–O when will You come to me? I will walk within my house in integrity and with a blameless heart.

Observation
This is a Psalm of David, thought to have been written when he begins to reign as king. It expresses not only his heart to rule his house but over the whole house of Israel.  He declares he does not want any wicked or perverse person or thing to be a part of his rule.  Mercy and justice are the two elements that bring a righteous balance to leadership.  Both are necessary but not one at the expense of the other.  This is also who God declared himself to be when He revealed himself to Moses. “And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord! the Lord! a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth, 7  Keeping mercy and loving-kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but Who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children, to the third and fourth generation.” (Exo 34:6-7 AMP; see also Psa 89:14; Matt 23:23) We must live balancing both mercy and justice, lovingkindness and judgment, following the example of our Lord Jesus.
