1コリント 11:23-25 （新改訳SKY17）　私は主から受けたことを、あなたがたに伝えました。すなわち、主イエスは渡される夜、パンを取り、24感謝の祈りをささげた後それを裂き、こう言われました。「これはあなたがたのための、わたしのからだです。わたしを覚えて、これを行いなさい。」25食事の後、同じように杯を取って言われました。「この杯は、わたしの血による新しい契約です。飲むたびに、わたしを覚えて、これを行いなさい。」

コメント
この個所は聖餐式を行うときによく引用される個所です。パウロはここでこの聖礼典（キリストが定めた儀式、祭式）の意味と意義を説明しています。イエスが、この式典を行うときに「私を覚えて、これを行いなさい。」と言われたこと思い起こさせています。私たちはしばしばキリストが私たちのために十字架上でなされた働き思い起こす必要があるのです。バプテスマのヨハネはイエスを指して言いました。「見よ、世の罪を取り除く神の子羊。」（ヨハネ1:29 SKY17）。旧約聖書のすべてのいけにえはイエスキリストとその十字架のいけにえを指しています。イエスの十字架は最終的決定的贖いのいけにえでした（1ヨハネ2:2; 4:10参照）。しかし、私たちが思い起こすのはイエスが私たちのためになされたことだけではなく、「私もキリストとともに十字架にかけられました」ことを覚えるのです（ガラテヤ2：19；ローマ6：3‐11なども参照）。聖餐式のパンと杯に預かるとき、私たちはキリストのいけにえと一体になるのです。キリストの贖いのいけにえを受け取ること、その祝福に預かることになるのです。パウロはガラテヤ人に言った通りです。「私はキリストとともに十字架につけられました。もはや私が生きているのではなく、キリストが私のうちに生きておられるのです。今私が肉において生きているいのちは、私を愛し、私のためにご自分を与えてくださった、神の御子に対する信仰によるのです」。（ガラテヤ2：１9-20 SKY17）。

This do in the remembrance of Me.” 25 In like manner, He also took the cup after He had supped, saying, “This is the cup of the New Covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in the remembrance of Me.” 

Observation
This is the passage we use often when we participate in the Communion (Eucharist). Paul reminds us of the meaning of this Sacrament which the Lord Jesus gave and instituted for us.  He says that Jesus told us we are to “do this in remembrance of me.”  We need to remind ourselves often of what Christ did for us on the cross. John the Baptist said of Jesus, “Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29 AFV). All of the sacrificial offerings of the OT pointed to Jesus Christ and the cross.  It was the ultimate atoning sacrifice (see 1 John 2:2; 4:10). But not only do we remember what he did for us, but also that “I have been crucified with Christ” (Gal 2:20 NIV84; see also Rom 6:3-11). When we partake of the elements of Communion, the bread and the cup, we are identifying with Christ’s sacrificial atonement and receiving the covenantal blessings he has provided for us.  “Do this in remembrance of me.” Paul told the Galatians, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Gal 2:20 NIV84)
