１歴代誌 11:10（新改訳 SKY17）　ダビデの勇士のかしらたちは次のとおりである。彼らは、ダビデとともにその王権を強固にし、全イスラエルとともに、イスラエルについての主のことばのとおり、彼を王とした人々である。

コメント
神はダビデをイスラエルの王として選び、立てました。しかし、神はダビデに、共に立つ多くの勇士をも与え、神の御心と目的を果たしました。何人もの偉大な勇士たちがいましたが、特に目立った三人がいたと記録されています。ヤショブアム（11節参照）；エルアザル（12‐14節参照）；シャンマ（2サムエル記 23:11-12参照）。彼らはダビデとイスラエルのために悪戦苦闘しました。特に目立ったのはいのちをも惜しまず、すべてをかけて主のために、ダビデのために戦いました。ダニエルはこのような人をこのように語りました。「．．．自分の神を知る人たちは堅く立って事を行う。」（ダニエル11:32 SKY17；別訳：「…固く立ち、勝ち抜いた）。へブル書では多くの優れた信仰の人々を上げていますが、彼らのことをこのように説明しています。「彼らは信仰によって、国々を征服し、正しいことを行い、約束のものを手に入れ、獅子の口をふさぎ、

火の勢いを消し、剣の刃を逃れ、弱い者なのに強くされ、戦いの勇士となり、他国の陣営を敗走させました。」（へブル 11:33-34 SKY17）。私たちも信仰の戦いによって悪と戦い、勝利するものとして召されています。「神から生まれた者はみな、世に勝つからです。私たちの信仰、これこそ、世に打ち勝った勝利です。5世に勝つ者とはだれでしょう。イエスを神の御子と信じる者ではありませんか。」(１ヨハネ5:4-5 SKY17)。また、「兄弟たちは、子羊の血と、自分たちの証しのことばのゆえに　竜に打ち勝った。彼らは死に至るまでも　自分のいのちを惜しまなかった。」(黙示録 12:11 SKY17)。われらの王イエスと神の国のために大勇士、勝利者となりましょう（黙示録21:7など参照）。

1Ch 11:10  These were the chiefs of David’s mighty men—they, together with all Israel, gave his kingship strong support to extend it over the whole land, as the LORD had promised—

Observation
God chose and raised up David to be King of Israel. But God also gave David men who stood beside him to fulfill the will and purposes of God to establish a strong Kingdom.  Even though there were many amazing warriors among David’s army there were 3 in particular that were above and beyond, Jashobeam (v.11), Eleazar (v.12-14), and Shammah (see 2Sam 23:11-12). etc.  They fought for David and for Israel even when the odds seemed against them.  What made them stand out is their willingness to risk everything for King David and for the Lord their God.  Daniel describes these kind of people: “… the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.” (Dan 11:32 ESV; “… but the people who know their God will stand strong and prevail.” TLV). Hebrews lists many of the great men and women of faith and says, “…who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.” (Heb 11:33-34 EVS). We are also called to fight the great fight of faith and overcome evil.  “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1John 5:4 ESV); “And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.” (Rev 12:11 ESV).  Be a Mighty Warrior for our King and the Kingdom of our God, an Overcomer (see Rev 21:7 etc.).
