箴言 10:25（口語訳）　あらしが通りすぎる時、悪しき者は、もはや、いなくなり、正しい者は永久に堅く立てられる。

コメント

私たちの人生に（この世界に）嵐を許されるのは私たちを滅ぼすためではなく、悪しきものを取り除くためです。そして、何が本当に大事で、握りしめるべきかを教えてくれます。「悪を行う者は断ち切られ　主を待ち望む者　彼らが地を受け継ぐからだ。もうしばらくで　10悪しき者はいなくなる。その居所を調べても　そこにはいない。11しかし　柔和な人は地を受け継ぎ　豊かな繁栄を自らの喜びとする。（詩篇37:9-11 JSS2017；イザヤ40:24など参照）。嵐の時にどうすればよいかをイエスも教えてくれました。「ですから、わたしのこれらのことばを聞いて、それを行う者はみな、岩の上に自分の家を建てた賢い人にたとえることができます。25雨が降って洪水が押し寄せ、風が吹いてその家を襲っても、家は倒れませんでした。岩の上に土台が据えられていたからです。26また、わたしのこれらのことばを聞いて、それを行わない者はみな、砂の上に自分の家を建てた愚かな人にたとえることができます。27雨が降って洪水が押し寄せ、風が吹いてその家に打ちつけると、倒れてしまいました。しかもその倒れ方はひどいものでした」（マタイ7:24-27 JSS2017）。嵐は恐れるものではありません。主は嵐の中でも働かれるかたです（詩篇148:8など参照）。

Prov. 10:25 (NIV84) When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.

Observation

God allows storms in our lives and in this world, not to destroy us but to remove the wicked and sweep away all that is unnecessary, and to show us what is really necessary to hang on to. “For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.  (Psa 37:9-11 NIV84; see also Isa 40:24 etc.) Jesus taught us how to stay firm during the storm.  “Anyone who listens to My teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears My teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” (Matt 7:24-27 NLT)
