箴言　28:1（リビングバイブルJCB）悪者は追われもしないのに逃げ回りますが、神を恐れる人に怖いものはありません。

（口語訳） 正しい人はししのように勇ましい。

コメント

正しい者、主を恐れる者、神に従う者は自分の正しさや力、能力などに頼るのではなく、完全に正しい、正義なる、いくさ人なる主（出エジプト 15:2-3参照）に信頼しているので、勇敢です（恐れることはありません）。ダビデはくりかえし詩篇の中でこの確信を宣言しました。「主は私の光　私の救い。だれを私は恐れよう。主は私のいのちの砦。だれを私は怖がろう」（詩篇27:1 JSS2017; 詩篇46:5; 62:3,6; 112:6なども参照）。「ですから、たとえ全世界が破裂し、山々が崩れ落ちて海に沈むようなことがあっても、怖がることはありません。3海よ、鳴りとどろき、白くあわ立つがよい。山よ、激しく揺れ動くがよい」（詩篇 46:2-3; ダニエルと3人の友を考慮； ダニエル 3:16-18; 6:10-11参照）。「主の使いは　主を恐れる者の周りに陣を張り　彼らを助け出される。味わい　見つめよ。主がいつくしみ深い方であることを。幸いなことよ　主に身を避ける人は」（詩篇34:7-8 JSS2017）。パウロも告白しています。「こんなにすばらしい恵みに対して、いったい何と言ったらよいでしょう。神が味方なら、だれが私たちに敵対できるでしょうか」（ローマ8:31 JCB）。あなたの信頼はどこにありますか？あなたの告白は何ですか？

Pro 28:1 (NIV84) The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

(MSG) The wicked are edgy with guilt, ready to run off even when no one’s after them; Honest people are relaxed and confident, bold as lions.

Observation

The boldness of the righteous is not in their own strength and ability but in The Lord God who is wholly righteous, just and is “A Man of War” (see Exo 15:2-3).  David expresses his confidence in God repeatedly in the Psalms. “Light, space, zest– that’s GOD! So, with him on my side I’m fearless, afraid of no one and nothing.” (Psa 27:1 MSG; Psa 46:5; 62:2,6; 112:6) “We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom, courageous in seastorm and earthquake, 3 Before the rush and roar of oceans, the tremors that shift mountains. Jacob-wrestling God fights for us, GOD of angel armies protects us.” (Psa 46:2-3 MSG; see Daniel and his friends in Babylon Dan 3:16-18; 6:10,11 etc.) “The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.  Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.” (Psa 34:7-8 NIV84)  Paul also declares, “What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom 8:31 NIV84) Where is your confidence and what is your confession?
