箴言 29:25 （リビングバイブルJCB）　人を恐れることは危険な罠ですが、主に頼れば安心です。

誰があなたの思いと行動を支配していますか？人？それとも主なる神？信頼をどこに置いていますか？私たちの思いと言動を影響します。神はご自分の民に尋ね求めました。「あなたは、だれにおじけ、だれを恐れて、まやかしを言うのか。あなたはわたしのことを思い出さず、心にも留めなかった。わたしが久しく黙っていたので、わたしを恐れないのではないか」（イザヤ 57:11　JSS2017）。私たちは神の声とことばに耳を傾けていなければ、周りの声を聞き始め、それを信じ始めます。「みことばによく通じた者は幸いを見出す。主に拠り頼む者は幸いである」（箴言 16:20 JSS2017）。どこのことばと誰の助言を受け入れているのか？私たちを影響します。「主に身を避けることは　人に信頼するよりも良い。主に身を避けることは　君主たちに信頼するよりも良い」（詩篇118:8-9 JSS2017）。主を恐れることは人を恐れることから守ります。「今　私は知る。主が　主に油注がれた者を救ってくださることを。右の御手の救いの御力をもって　聖なる天から　その者に答えてくださることを。ある者は戦車を　ある者は馬を求める。しかし私たちは　私たちの神　主の御名を呼び求める。彼らは膝をつき　倒れた。しかし私たちは　まっすぐに立ち上がった」（詩篇 20:6-8 JSS2017）。

Pro 29:25 AMP The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.

(TPT) Fear and intimidation is a trap that holds you back. But when you place your confidence in the Lord, you will be seated in the high place. 

Observation

Who do you allow to control your actions and thoughts? Man or God? Where do you put your trust and confidence? This will influence how you think and how you act.  God asks his people, “Whom have you so dreaded and feared that you have been false to me, and have neither remembered me nor pondered this in your hearts? Is it not because I have long been silent that you do not fear me?” (Isa 57:11 NIV84) When we are not listening to or hearing the Lord’s voice and his word, we start to believe and fear what those around us are saying.  “Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.” Whose voice and instruction are we listening to?  It will control our thoughts and behavior. “It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. 9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.” (Psa 118:8-9 NIV84) The fear of the Lord will keep us from the fear of man.  “Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. 8 They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.” (Psa 20:6-8 NIV84)
