エゼキエル 32:28（新改訳SKY17）　しかしあなた（ファラオ）は、無割礼の者たちの間で砕かれ、剣で刺し殺された者たちとともに横たわる。

コメント
エジプトに対する神のさばきが続きます。特にエジプトの王ファラオに対して、死の先にさらにさばきがあることを思い起こさせています。聖書は私たちに教えています。「人間には、一度だけ死んで、その後さばきを受けることが定められている．．．」（へブル書 9:27 JCB）。これはすべての人、身分の高い人も低い人も、権力のある者も、取るに足らない者にも定まっている真実です。パウロはローマ書の最初に法的な用語でこのことを説明しています。「私の福音によれば、神のさばきは、神がキリスト・イエスによって、人々の隠された事柄をさばかれるその日に行われるのです」（ローマ2:16 SKY17）。また言いました。「すべての人は罪を犯したので、神の標準にはほど遠い存在です」（ローマ 3:23 JCB）。それでは、私たちに希望はあるのでしょうか？イエス・キリストとその身代わりの贖い、十字架の御業によってのみ望みがあります。「けれども、もし私たちがキリスト・イエスを信じるなら、このキリスト・イエスが、恵みにより、無償で私たちの罪を帳消しにしてくださるのです」（ローマ3:24 JCB）。そして、これがなぜ可能かを説明しています。「神はキリスト・イエスを遣わして、私たちの罪に対する償いをさせ、私たちへの怒りをとどめてくださいました。神は、私たちをご自分の怒りから救い出すための手段として、キリストの血と私たちの信仰とを用いられました。たとえ、それまでの時代に罪を犯した者たちを罰せられなかったとしても、神は完全に公正であられるのです。キリストが来て人々の罪を取り除く時を、神は待ち望んでおられました。 26そして今日も、神はこの同じ方法で罪人を受け入れてくださいます。イエスが彼らを、義と認めてくださるためです」（ローマ3：25‐26 JCB）。パウロはまた言いました。「しかし、私たちがまだ罪人であった時、神はキリストを遣わしてくださいました。そのキリストが私たちのために死なれたことにより、神は私たちに大きな愛を示してくださったのです。 9キリストは、罪人のために血まで流してくださったのですから、私たちが無罪とされた今は、もっとすばらしいことをしてくださるに違いありません。今やキリストは、神の怒りから、私たちを完全に救い出してくださるのです」（ローマ5:8‐9 JCB）。

Observation
Although this passage still continues about judgment against Egypt and its ruler; Pharaoh is reminded that ultimately there will be judgment in death.  The Bible teaches us, “And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment…” (Heb 9:27 AMPC).  This is true for all men, whether in this life they were high or low, powerful or seemingly inconsequential. Everyone will stand before the Judge of all the earth.  Paul explains this in legal terms in first chapters of Romans. “And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.” (Rom 2:16 NLT) And then, “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Rom 3:23 NLT). Is there any hope for anyone?  Only through Jesus Christ and his substitutional, atoning work of the cross.  “Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.” (Rom 3:24 NLT).  Paul then explains how this is possible. “For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26  for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.” (Rom 3:25-26 NLT). Paul also says, “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9 And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.” (Rom 5:8-9 NLT).
