エゼキエル 37:4-5 （新改訳 SKY17）　主は私に言われた。「これらの骨に預言せよ。『干からびた骨よ、主のことばを聞け。5神である主はこれらの骨にこう言う。見よ。わたしがおまえたちに息を吹き入れるので、おまえたちは生き返る。

コメント
主はエゼキエルに干からびた骨で満ちた谷間を見せました。これはイスラエルの家の状態を描写していました（11節参照）。彼らは、殺され、国々の間に散らばされ、二度と回復し生きる望みがないように見えました。しかし、われらの主なる神はよみがえりと新しいいのちの神です。主はエゼキエルにこの骨が再び生きるように預言するようにと命じました。そこで骨は骨と元通りにつながり、骸骨となりました。さらに、筋と肉が付きました。しかしまだ、生きていませんでした。もう一度預言するように言われ、「息に預言せよ。人の子よ、預言してその息に言え。『神である主はこう言われる。息よ、四方から吹いて来い。この殺された者たちに吹きつけて、彼らを生き返らせよ。』」（9節 SKY17）。（息、風、霊は同じヘブル語から来てます、ルアー）。すると、「息が彼らの中に入った。そして彼らは生き返り、自分の足で立った。非常に大きな集団であった。」（10節 SKY17）。また、主は宣言しました。「このとき、あなたがたは、主である私が語り、これを成し遂げたことを知る――主のことば。」（14節 SKY17; 6節も参照）。イスラエルは言ってました。「私たちの骨は干からび、望みは消え失せ、私たちは断ち切られた。」と。」（11節 SKY17）。でも、主なる神が言われたのです。「わたしがおまえたちに息を吹きいれるので、おまえたちは生き返る。」（5節SKY17）。マリヤとマルタが兄弟ラザロの死に直面していた時、イエスは宣言しました。「わたしはよみがえりです。いのちです。わたしを信じる者は死んでも生きるのです。また、生きていてわたしを信じる者はみな、永遠に決して死ぬことがありません。あなたは、このことを信じますか。」（ヨハネ11:25‐26 SKY17）。パウロも言いました。「神は主をよみがえらせましたが、その御力によって私たちも、よみがえらせてくださいます。」（１Cor 6:14SKY17）。

Observation
The Lord shows Ezekiel a valley filled with dry, dead bones.  This is a picture of “the whole house of Israel” (see v.11).  They have been killed, scattered among the nations and with no seeming hope of reviving again.  But the Lord God is the God of resurrection and new life.  Ezekiel is commanded to prophesy to the bones to live again. Then the Spirit of the Lord began moving among the bones, bringing them together in the right order to create full skeletons, but also tendons and flesh began appearing and covering the bones (see v.8).  Ezekiel is commanded to prophesy again and this time command breath (of life) to come into them. “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” (v.9 NKJV) (breath, wind, spirit are all the same word, Ruach H7307). Then, “breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.” (v.10). The Lord declared, “Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.’ (v.14, see also v.6)  Israel was saying, “Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!” (v.11), but the Lord says, “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.” (v.5 NKJV)  When Mary and Martha were faced with the death of their brother Lazarus, Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”  (John 11:25-26 NKJV) Paul also tells us, “ And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.” (1Cor 6:14 NKJV)
