エゼキエル 43:1,2,4 （新改訳SKY17）　彼は私を東向きの門に連れて行った。2すると見よ、イスラエルの神の栄光が東の方から現れた。その音は大水のとどろきのようで、地はその栄光で輝いた。4主の栄光が東向きの門を通って神殿に入って来た。

コメント
エゼキエルはもう一度神の栄光の幻を見せられました。エゼキエルの幻の初めでは（1－11章参照）神の栄光が徐々に神殿から、エルサレムから離れ、立ち去りました（9:3;11:23など参照）。そして最終的にはエルサレムと神殿の崩壊に至りました。しかし、今は神の栄光が再び新しい神殿に戻って来るのをエゼキエルに見せられました（5節参照）。これはモーセの幕屋（出エジプト記 40:35 ）とソロモンの神殿（1列王記 8:10-11参照）にも起こったことです。神の臨在と栄光が宿らなければ、どんなに立派な建物であっても、ただの儀式の場所となり、ついには偶像礼拝に至るのです。しかし、神も宮がきよめられ、聖別されるときには神は臨在を持って来られ、主の栄光が神殿を満たすのです。このことの究極的成就は黙示録の中で、天の神殿で見られます（黙示録15:8など参照）。しかし、黙示を受けたヨハネはこのように言いました。「私はまた、大きな声が御座から出て、こう言うのを聞いた。「見よ、神の幕屋が人々とともにある。神は人々とともに住み、人々は神の民となる。神ご自身が彼らの神として、ともにおられる」（黙示録 21:3 SKY17）。そして言われました。「私は、この都の中に神殿を見なかった。全能の神である主と子羊が、都の神殿だからである。都は、これを照らす太陽も月も必要としない。神の栄光が都を照らし、子羊が都の明かりだからである。」 (黙示録 21:22-23 SKY17)。私たちは最も求めなければならないのは神の臨在であり、神の栄光が私たちのうちに、教会の中であらわされることです。

Ezk 43:1,2,4 NIV84 Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, 2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory. 4 The glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate facing east.

Observation
Ezekiel once again sees a vision of the glory of the Lord.  At the beginning of his visions (see Ezk 1-11) the glory of the Lord incrementally departed from the Temple in Jerusalem and then from the city, and which ultimately led to the destruction of the Temple and the city (see Ezek 9:3 to 11:23).  Now the Lord is showing Ezekiel the return of the glory of the Lord, this time to the New Temple. Once again the glory of the Lord fills the Temple (see v.5) This is what also happened at the Tabernacle of Moses (see Exo 40:35) and at the Temple of Solomon (see 1Ki 8:10-11).  Without the presence and glory of God, no matter how magnificently built, it is only a place of ritual and ultimately will become a place of idolatry.  But when it is cleansed and dedicate to the Lord, and He comes with His presence, the glory of the Lord fills the temple. We see the fulfillment in the heavenly temple in Revelations (see Rev 15:8 etc.); but ultimately John says, “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.” (Rev 21:3 NIV84) And then goes on to say, “I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23  The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.” (Rev 21:22-23 NIV84). The thing we should desire most and seek after is the presence and glory of God in our lives and the church, the temple of the Holy and Glorious One.
