エゼキエル 45:19-20 (SKY17)　 祭司は罪のきよめのささげ物から血を取り、それを神殿の戸口の柱、祭壇の台座の四隅、そして内庭の門柱に塗る。20その月の七日にも、あなたは、迷い出る者や浅はかな者のゆえにこのように献げ、神殿のために宥めを行わなければならない。

コメント
これは最初の過ぎ越しを思い起こし、各家に子羊の血を門柱とかもいに塗って、その家をきよめ、その中にいるすべてのものを守るための贖いのいけにえ指していました。こは神殿全体のためになされたのです。それから、彼らは過ぎ越しの祭りを祝いました。これはキリストが十字架で流された血潮によってすべての罪と汚れをきよめるものとなりました。私たち新約において、キリストが私たちのためになされた贖いのいけにえによってもうすでに救われ、きよめられているのです。しかし、私たちは聖餐式に預かるときにこのことを思い起こし、私たちの生活に、いのちに適用するのです。イエスは言いました。「これは多くの人のために、罪の赦しのために流される、わたしの契約の血です。」（マタイ26:28 SKY17）。パウロはコリントの手紙でさらに加えました。「．．．わたしを覚えてこれを行いなさい。」（1コリント 11:25 SKY17）。ペテロは言いました。「あなたがたが先祖伝来のむなしい生き方から贖い出されたのは、．．．傷もなく汚れもない子羊のようなキリストの、尊い血によったのです。」（1ペテロ 1:18-19　SKY17）。「まして、キリストが傷のないご自分を、とこしえの御霊によって神にお献げになったその血は、どれだけ私たちの良心をきよめて死んだ行いから離れさせ、生ける神に仕える者にすることでしょうか。」(へブル9:14 SKY17； 12-15節も参照)。

Ezk 45:19-20 NIV84 The priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the temple, on the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar and on the gateposts of the inner court. 20 You are to do the same on the seventh day of the month for anyone who sins unintentionally or through ignorance; so you are to make atonement for the temple.

Observation
This is a reference back to the Passover where each house took the blood of a lamb to put on the lintel and doorposts to provide protection from the destroyer and to atone for all who were in the house.  This is done for the whole Temple and courtyard.  Then they were to celebrate the Passover feast.  It also foreshadowed forward to Christ’s atoning sacrifice on the cross for all sin and defilement.  In the NT we celebrate what Christ has already done for us by his atoning death by partaking of the communion Eucharist. We do not have to offer a sin offering again,  but we remember what Christ has done and apply it to our lives.  Communion helps us to remember and apply Christ’s blood to our lives.  Jesus said, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” (Matt 26:28 NIV84). Paul adds in 1Corinthians, “do this in remembrance of me…” (1Cor 11:25 NIV84).  Peter tells us, “…you were redeemed…with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” (1Pet 1:18-29 NIV84). “ How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” (Heb 9:14 NIV84; see v.12-15 also).
